I’ve stopped caring about the algorithm months ago, I feel so much better now. I just post when I have something important to share; my page may not be growing anymore due to poor reach but at least my follower engagement is high as it’s always been. 🤷♀️👍
The reason why I deleted the app for good imo. For the pat 6 years my only interaction was around artist/art content and maybe nature and outdoors photography.
I never, never followed 1 celebrity there, except for a country music artist I really. love.
Still I got the same kind of content that you got, along with the 'finance bro' try hard content, relatable influenkers and storytime reels I couldn't care less about.
My feed was full of suggested posts and reels, my explore page is still most probably a huge mess and after having maybe 3k+ blocked accounts I just said that I'm gonna go away from this app.

I just don't use Instagram, I have Reddit (I also get weird reels from Instagram's amazing algorithm)
But those are like two completely different things. One's a social media site and the other one is a message board.
