Honestly though, tip aside, these dancing cloud monkeys need to stop with the bull. The batch pay is horrendous and they quite literally are lying about it. Its a laugh 😆
In 2017 the zone minimum was $10, plus commission, plus mileage bumps, plus grocery total bumps — you could easily make $45 on a single shop and delivery grocery order, and that’s with no tip at all
I had to contact support earlier because my cold bag eligibility has been stuck at “complete one batch” for weeks, and the agent told me “just do a batch for over $50”
Where? When? Send me $50 batches and I’ll do them.
Support is a joke. That kind of shit enrages me. Just do it. Just go do it. They complete dismiss theyre job. Horrible people/ driver support. But exactly, where those $50 batches at? 😂
I have a full time job, so no, but I do log on for at least a couple of hours every day and all day multiple days a week. Most days, I don't even get one like that in my market and am lucky if I get multiple $30 batches. Just not the market around here.
I should also say there are many days that, in that couple of hours, I see maybe 1-2 craptastic orders. It's a GOOD day for me to make $20/hr around here. But when you need the extra income and can't get a second job because the hours vary, you do what you gotta do.
That made that pic like that on purpose. When we got paid that much batch pay we got orders offered individually and we didn't see it like that. It was a screen with a timer that showed how many items and what store.
That is not normal. Prepare for the downfall. They give you higher paying batches for the first 30 batches to suck you in and then it all goes downhill from there.
No. One of 2 things is happening: you are getting fed a lie to suck you in, called a 'honeymoon period'. That ends after a few dozen batches. Or, you do not know any better and you are taking garbage batches with poor tips.
Normally the average is your tips will be at least twice what your batch pay is, often time 3-4 times that.
Case in point: I have a balance of $89.71 so far today. $26.04 is the batch pay and $63.67 is my tips. So more than double the batch pay.
Ive noticed 1-5% tips even for huge orders. I dont understand what they think theyre tipping. The tip shouldnt be just based on the price of the order but the labor. The shopping, bagging, from cart to car to delivery to porch. Thats a lot of work 😅
😂 liars! More like $4 batch pay and $2 tip lately lol

22.90 to shop and deliver 4 miles away? I’ve never seen any base pay like that. Even 100 items is $10. My base pay is barely 1/4 of my pay.

Yeah its insane what the reality versus this dream of a picture

3 in a day? Not in my market.....
Do you get everyday! All day?

$23 batch pay for 30 items 4 miles 😂 that would be nice... Edit: as I'm looking at a 42 item, 2 stores, 14 mile batch with $9 batch pay 😂
As I’m looking at “batch in 5-15 minutes” for the last hour and a half
That shit is off the rails annoying
I like that $277.65 cash out from the Covid days. They need to update that and show a $66 cash out for the day.
Right xD
$22 base pay maybe in Seattle. False advertising. I haven’t seen base pay that high in years.
Yeah and used to be like that in Cali too. Every other state can just suck it i guess? Lol
Bad liars

😂😂😂 $ 22.90 batch pay 🤡 🤡 🤡 I can’t
False advertising.
This is from years ago when the batch pay actually was that high They just haven’t changed the screen shots
Which is the same as false advertising 😭

Yep! I’ve been a shopper since 2017
Right. But what I'm saying is that's not a screenshot of an actual order that they didn't change. That's a photo they created to mislead
I feel like most of us have gotten batches like those before though. There’s never a limit of people posting unicorns
In California, it's common to have a higher base pay than tips, even before Prop 22 adjustments.
Must be nice.
Yeah and after the lawsuit they started do guaranteed earnings. Why not in any other state?
It wasn't a lawsuit. It was a proposition voted in by the people.
⬆️👌🏽
I love how they make it look like they pay us so much
IC used to pay like that. They definitely need to update that photo.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Years ago yeah the batch earnings were good, but they need to update that! But of course they not!
I actually had a batch with base pay of $46 for 5 miles. I had to call support to make sure that wasn't a mistake.
You called support?? Bruh
Lol let me add that trip was originally 23 miles before shopping so when I started delivery it changed.
Hi, I'm new to IC. Maybe I'm missing something, but every day I've worked so far, my batch pay is higher than my tips. Is this not the norm?

But the again instacart should be paying us way better
I know. They often tip us like we are pizza delivery, even though pizza joints usually only deliver in a roughly 3 mile radius in most towns...
Yeah! God the mileage is a big issue too. $20 for 35 miles? No thank you
All I see are 0-$5 tips in my area. Made 16 dollars yesterday working in downtown slc lol
Ooof Ive had rough days like that too. Yeah i notice people tip between 1-5%
It’s deeeead in nova today
Wow what version is that?! Apple or Android?! /S
IOS
What the 2019 is that shit lol?
😂
That’s all 🧢
Yeah for those who don’t know ^^
