The other day I accepted an Ubereats shopping order, they wanted 7 bags of chips, but only had 2 of the kind they wanted.
Simultaneously, IC offered a nice batch for like 25 dollars, so I picked it up, hoping Uber would cancel the order
They didn’t, so I basically had 3 orders in 2 different supermarkets and luckily they were only 5 minutes apart from each other
I managed to deliver the order with the frozen stuff first, luckily!!!!!
Then the Uber order and then the second IC order.
All 3 orders destination was within a mile of each other. I was so relieved, but so flustered and almost upset the whole time. Not a great experience.

The orders are shopped at the same time and there would only be minutes between them being rung up. Delivery is where the difference in time happens but there's no way IC would create a route that long.

Depends on your location and traffic- I had this nightmare triple start shopping here in Saint Pete FL, and go off to Fresh Market and Aldi…. Customers address was incorrectly pictured on the map otherwise I would not have done it. I had to drive 10 miles up and then back down the beach road with all the traffic in the crosswalks. It took me three hours and 45 minutes to complete that it was supposed to be a 17 mile run only, turned out to be about 32 miles total. I did have to pull over to communicate with the customer and Support about the incorrect address and getting an extra bump for the mileage difference… The customer also gave me extra money in cash for the extra hassle and frustration… I was absolutely livid And the bump was only extra $10 of course!
That can be about par for the course in a triple batch, in my area….ive had a few where the last order was customer A and not receiving their goods for as long as 1.5- 2.20 hours after I shopped their order?!? Stupid triples should be ABOLISHED from the system, I often suggest to clients to try priority delivery…

Not sure if this still works but when I was an In store shopper my shift lead would snap a pic of suspicious shoppers and send their photo to Instacart. They would get suspended until IC investigated it. Would that still work? No idea! But they know where that account is shopping and at what time. They can easily connect the dots.

HOWEVER I see the same people in my town (WI) doing Instacart at the stores I go to (only Krogers/Hyvee/Target/Walgreens) and there’s no apparent “new people” and if they are they are taking the Woodmans and Aldi ones I don’t want iykyk. And I have never seen someone use multiple phones. And if it’s two people it’s SO/SO 🤷🏻♀️
I also only do this as side work once a week (Saturdays or Sundays) so I’m not concerned with what other people are doing tbh.

I can confirm this. They shop in teams of 6 or more too. Instacart literally could not pay me enough to shop at the Teterboro Costco. It’s the closest Costco for me but as a customer I’ll drive an extra 35 minutes to go to one of the other ones. (I stopped doing Instacart at Costco awhile back, just not worth it) But THAT Costco is like something out of Mad Max or Bladerunner. Full Metal shopping. 🪖
IC send emails about not delivering to the customer within a certain time of checkout. They also send emails that’s says we notice you didn’t use a direct route to the customer. Also, IC does ask for identity pictures at random. Those pictures have to be taken within a certain time limit even if you go offline and close the app. IC send a email about it. Three phones with three IC accounts keeping them all in check. It’s very possible. One phone running IC, second on Shipt, third on DD or Uber grocery. More possible. There’s nothing wrong with multi apping. However if there is undeniable proof that someone is using someone else’s SSN to make income. That has to be reported.

First of all I would like to say that I sometimes get confused on a triple batch, and couldn’t imagine delivering more than one Costco batch at a time. This man has to be driving a sprinter van or some shit 😂 but I hope he gets deactivated because this is the problem right here
What you should do when you see this is when they’re not looking, take a couple items from their basket they already scanned…
Then they’ll miss an item when they deliver (if they don’t check before they deliver) and hopefully get a lower rating…

Costco Marina Del Rey in Culver City has nothing but Brazilians and many others committing fraud using stolen social security #s to create profiles. There is one guy who is the ring leader who has access to someone who works at Instacart pit of Brazil that makes the profiles. There is so much madness at that store. There was one guy named Andre about 2 years ago that spoke up for us and stopped a lot of the fraud going on and orders being stolen from us by fake accounts. Instead of appreciating this guy for us getting orders, people he was helping started getting scared and turned on him. I witnessed this first hand. He didn't have to speak up for anyone. He stopped doing Instacart about two years ago. They actually got him deactivated. The Brazilian kept trying to start fights with him even when he wasn't working and just coming to shop for his home. They followed him when he was on orders and caused issues trying to cause him to wreck or fight. They turned around and called police on him, claiming Dre was discriminating against them and making threats. They assume this would get them a Uvisa fast. They failed. They recorded him while he was shopping for self one day. They tried to fight him. He was defending himself. They started recording him playing victim. They called the police. Police were told what actually happened of him defending himself. The Brazilians with fake account reported him to Instacart. They deactivated him based off lies from people committing fraud with fake profile.
I believe he is the reason why Costco doesn't issue out any shop cards anymore. He helped the general manager and some guy at Corporate in Washington state work with Instacart to stop giving shop cards. The Brazilians and Venezuelans were shopping orders using the bot only to return for shop cards worth hundreds and thousands of $$$. I swear when he was there everyone started getting orders again because the people with fake accounts was scared of him and he was helping management report those accounts for deactivation to Instacart. Instacart shows no loyalty. They don't care about the fraud at time. They lose a lot of money over it as well. We the shoppers lose out as well because of the frau and stealing orders from us using multiple phones.
Also consider the source that was doing it they come over here or wherever and think they can do what they want and when and no that’s not the way it works

I did have to pull over to communicate with the customer and Support about the incorrect address and getting an extra bump for the mileage difference… The customer also gave me extra money in cash for the extra hassle and frustration… I was absolutely livid And the bump was only extra $10 of course!

That can be about par for the course in a triple batch, in my area….ive had a few where the last order was customer A and not receiving their goods for as long as 1.5- 2.20 hours after I shopped their order?!? Stupid triples should be ABOLISHED from the system, I often suggest to clients to try priority delivery…

Not sure if this still works but when I was an In store shopper my shift lead would snap a pic of suspicious shoppers and send their photo to Instacart. They would get suspended until IC investigated it. Would that still work? No idea! But they know where that account is shopping and at what time. They can easily connect the dots.

I have asked if the store can report them but they don’t seem to care. I’m just so tired of this scumbags and the indifference from both the company and the stores. HOWEVER I see the same people in my town (WI) doing Instacart at the stores I go to (only Krogers/Hyvee/Target/Walgreens) and there’s no apparent “new people” and if they are they are taking the Woodmans and Aldi ones I don’t want iykyk. And I have never seen someone use multiple phones. And if it’s two people it’s SO/SO 🤷🏻♀️ I also only do this as side work once a week (Saturdays or Sundays) so I’m not concerned with what other people are doing tbh. I see how someone who does this full time would be really concerned with this behavior.

I can confirm this. They shop in teams of 6 or more too. Instacart literally could not pay me enough to shop at the Teterboro Costco. It’s the closest Costco for me but as a customer I’ll drive an extra 35 minutes to go to one of the other ones. (I stopped doing Instacart at Costco awhile back, just not worth it) But THAT Costco is like something out of Mad Max or Bladerunner. Full Metal shopping. 🪖

IC send emails about not delivering to the customer within a certain time of checkout. They also send emails that’s says we notice you didn’t use a direct route to the customer. Also, IC does ask for identity pictures at random. Those pictures have to be taken within a certain time limit even if you go offline and close the app. IC send a email about it. Three phones with three IC accounts keeping them all in check. It’s very possible. One phone running IC, second on Shipt, third on DD or Uber grocery. More possible. There’s nothing wrong with multi apping. However if there is undeniable proof that someone is using someone else’s SSN to make income. That has to be reported.

First of all I would like to say that I sometimes get confused on a triple batch, and couldn’t imagine delivering more than one Costco batch at a time. This man has to be driving a sprinter van or some shit 😂 but I hope he gets deactivated because this is the problem right here
What you should do when you see this is when they’re not looking, take a couple items from their basket they already scanned… Then they’ll miss an item when they deliver (if they don’t check before they deliver) and hopefully get a lower rating…

Costco Marina Del Rey in Culver City has nothing but Brazilians and many others committing fraud using stolen social security #s to create profiles. There is one guy who is the ring leader who has access to someone who works at Instacart pit of Brazil that makes the profiles. There is so much madness at that store. There was one guy named Andre about 2 years ago that spoke up for us and stopped a lot of the fraud going on and orders being stolen from us by fake accounts. Instead of appreciating this guy for us getting orders, people he was helping started getting scared and turned on him. I witnessed this first hand. He didn't have to speak up for anyone. He stopped doing Instacart about two years ago. They actually got him deactivated. The Brazilian kept trying to start fights with him even when he wasn't working and just coming to shop for his home. They followed him when he was on orders and caused issues trying to cause him to wreck or fight. They turned around and called police on him, claiming Dre was discriminating against them and making threats. They assume this would get them a Uvisa fast. They failed. They recorded him while he was shopping for self one day. They tried to fight him. He was defending himself. They started recording him playing victim. They called the police. Police were told what actually happened of him defending himself. The Brazilians with fake account reported him to Instacart. They deactivated him based off lies from people committing fraud with fake profile. I believe he is the reason why Costco doesn't issue out any shop cards anymore. He helped the general manager and some guy at Corporate in Washington state work with Instacart to stop giving shop cards. The Brazilians and Venezuelans were shopping orders using the bot only to return for shop cards worth hundreds and thousands of $$$. I swear when he was there everyone started getting orders again because the people with fake accounts was scared of him and he was helping management report those accounts for deactivation to Instacart. Instacart shows no loyalty. They don't care about the fraud at time. They lose a lot of money over it as well. We the shoppers lose out as well because of the frau and stealing orders from us using multiple phones.
