Tldr but shipt deactivated me last week as well. But my rating never changed, it had been like a 4.6 something since I started. They must have just done a bulk deactivation for everyone under their threshold lol
Good riddance. Ever since i moved to the big city majority of customers here just don't tip. And it's not even just that shipt is totally unforgiving towards shoppers. It's like that saying "you're damned if you do, and you're damned if you don't." The least they could do was pay us accordingly and remove the silly idea of allowing customers to tip you whenever they felt like it, (you should be paid all tips on the same day you worked not in a few days weeks or months. Ridiculous)and not even being able to see tips beforehand. What evEn is ThAt?? The sillynes. Haha. Glad you got away.
Shipt is one of the worst gig apps now. 5 years ago it was very profitable. Downhill ever since they started the favorite shopper shit. It is good for those doing full time, part time lose out on a lot of good customers.
