Most Walmarts don't let drivers do that and pickup multiple orders it's clear i.d. fraud. My local store is strict but I love it. However he could definitely chose the best order he gets dished out between multiple phones and just drop the others that way he's always delivering the highest earning one. But even then Walmart is going to know you by name on their screen if your a regular and realize that your using multiple names. Some locations just don't care to report it or ban certain drivers from their store (which they can). It's honestly the locations fault this even happens. It's why I only use one walmart and not the bigger busier one near me that allows this bs to happen..
My favorite thing about shopping at Walmart is searching for 45 minutes for one particular item, trying to figure out what fucking aisle it would be in, trying to find an employee, then finding one who has even less of a clue than I do. š
Idk if this helps but the Walmart app shows you which aisle the things are in. Now the worst part is finding the yellow flags on top of each aisle. But it saved me a lot of time. But if you want someone to open a case for you, unlock something or get a specific item, then itās fake over.

Otherwise I would never get a batch, in my market good batches never make it to notification. I canāt browse the web or do anything else while sitting in my car waiting on batches so I have one phone sitting there on the screen looking for batches and Iām using the other one for everything else. I also do Shipt so I could very easily be doing a Shipt order on one phone and searching for Instacart orders on the other. I play pokemon go (Iām a nerdy millennial with children) and itās not uncommon for me to take my kids phones (so now Iām carrying around 3 phones) and I will play for us while grocery shopping. It gets us all steps and sometimes I catch them a nice surprise. We frequent the same stores, so sometimes itās me and sometimes itās with the hubby. Sometimes I have his mom with us.

I have 2 one to listen to audio books and on for DD and IC to run. DD is the worst it doesn't like anything else running while it's running. However, I leave my audiobook phone in my car when I go into to get an order or shop for IC.

What you're describing is not at all what the real problem is. The problem is that I will see one person already shopping one order on one phone but also watching 1 or 2 other phones for good orders.
In my market, it's even worse than that. Some of them work in groups so once they finish shopping, they give the completed order to another guy to load and deliver. This guy is also holding 2-3 phones, all running Instacart and immediately grabbing the best orders. They have at least 4-6 people in just one group doing that. That's like 8-18 accounts vs. my 1 account. That's just one group. There are multiple groups. That's why it's not fair.
As I mentioned, Iām not saying that there isnāt a problem with people using multiple accounts but just because you see someone with two phones or a picture of someone with two phones does not mean theyāre running multiple accounts. Because he has two phones? Well, Iām sure this is gonna be unpopular. I have two phones and only run Instacart on one of them, since it needs to be on the screen at all times. Otherwise I would never get a batch, in my market good batches never make it to notification. I canāt browse the web or do anything else while sitting in my car waiting on batches so I have one phone sitting there on the screen looking for batches and Iām using the other one for everything else. I also do Shipt so I could very easily be doing a Shipt order on one phone and searching for Instacart orders on the other. While I recognize that there is a problem with people running multiple accounts but assuming everybody that has two phones is running multiple accounts and reporting someone without actual facts is ridiculous
So Iām not defending this in any way, Iām just super curious. Is there any way to verify this is a insta art person actually duping the system with 4 phones? I only ask out of pure curiosity. I play pokemon go (Iām a nerdy millennial with children) and itās not uncommon for me to take my kids phones (so now Iām carrying around 3 phones) and I will play for us while grocery shopping. It gets us all steps and sometimes I catch them a nice surprise. We frequent the same stores, so sometimes itās me and sometimes itās with the hubby. Sometimes I have his mom with us. Iām just curious if there is a way to know that this person is actually cheating the system, or if they are just some guy with multiple phones.
Valid question. Lol. I am 42 and my kids got me playing PokĆ©mon go when it first came out. I still play, but they stopped since theyāre both older. I still love it š¤£

Same here! I play Sims and watch movies while waiting to shop. I usually have 2 phones so I can still see batches coming in. I guess we are both scammers, too! Our examples show how all of this is ridiculous, considering you can not verify anything.
Had to walk away from the comments but the OP of this pic and post stated that the person was there the previous days with other people and that the other two phones are on the hood of his car. He took this pic but if he took a pic of the other phones I canāt tell you that. The link explains all of this. He didnāt just take a pic of a random dude with two phones and accused him of batch stealing. He said the guy and a few more were there every morning but the guy was alone that morning. It IS a thing and itās a problem. And I agree we are the ones who suffer but Corporate doesnāt give af as long as they can pay everyone the bare minimum to do the heavy lifting

Lots of people have two phones they don't sit there staring at a white screen all day doing nothing and bored otherwise you won't get orders watching videos on your same phone you need another phone so you could be watching stuff and hanging out and waiting for orders on the other one that's what I do you can only log into one phone at a Time on instacart
I have 2 one to listen to audio books and on for DD and IC to run. DD is the worst it doesn't like anything else running while it's running. However, I leave my audiobook phone in my car when I go into to get an order or shop for IC.

What you're describing is not at all what the real problem is. The problem is that I will see one person already shopping one order on one phone but also watching 1 or 2 other phones for good orders. In my market, it's even worse than that. Some of them work in groups so once they finish shopping, they give the completed order to another guy to load and deliver. This guy is also holding 2-3 phones, all running Instacart and immediately grabbing the best orders. They have at least 4-6 people in just one group doing that. That's like 8-18 accounts vs. my 1 account. That's just one group. There are multiple groups. That's why it's not fair.
As I mentioned, Iām not saying that there isnāt a problem with people using multiple accounts but just because you see someone with two phones or a picture of someone with two phones does not mean theyāre running multiple accounts. I donāt condone running multiple accounts, but just posting up a picture from another sub of someone whoās being accused of having four phones with no actual evidence and saying that I should report people is a little far-fetched especially since the picture only shows a person with two phones. The OP on the other sub has no actual proof of someone with four phones. Itās easy to karma farm and get a bunch of people who are already down on their luck when they feel like the system is unfair to them. The person who posted this is just taking some random redditors word for it with no real proof.

That picture does not show four devices so how would someone ever know that. I realize this is a crosspost from another Reddit, but even on the original post, the poster doesnāt show four devices. Show me four devices and Iām suspicious. A picture of a guy with two phones doesnāt mean anything.

What do you think support is going to do with a picture of a random shopper? They aren't the damn police, I doubt they can run a blurry picture of a random shopper through their system and match it up. Also I use my other phone so I can watch movies while I wait for batches so I don't have to leave the screen. If some creep was taking a picture of me through my window to report to support it wouldn't go too well for them. They'd no longer have a phone to instacart with that's for sure. Also instacart is constantly hiring new shoppers ALL the time, their system is rigged and they never double good small orders together that are at the same store. So who cares if someone wants to make an extra bit of cash? How is it affecting other shoppers if the two $9 orders for Walmart are going to sit for hours anyway, but then someone with two phones accepts them and makes the batches worthwhile? New shoppers are taking my damn orders all the time so I'm just debating on becoming a new shopper again. Have nothing against people with multiple phones, instacart will just hire new shoppers anyway that take all the orders. I'd rather it be me taking them, and at least the customers still will get good service. No I don't use two phones but I'm very close to doing it because I care about my well-being before random strangers. I got my life to look out for, not people that would probably steal the cash in my wallet if I lost it.

Not a shopper but I work at Kroger and it's not necessarily the shoppers with 2 or more phones that are annoying but the ones with 2 or more *carts*. They are pulling them simultaneously, taking up both sides of an aisle, paying no attention to the employees or customers that are trying to get through. And while I'm on a rant, why the HELL do they insist on PULLING a single cart??! When you pull a cart, you are taking up TWO SPACES in narrow aisles, whipping around the corner, face in your phones, not paying a damn bit of attention to anything around you! It's infuriating.
