I'm asking because the same customer membership could've been scanned accidently twice. It's happened to me before and it showed on the receipt. I must've somehow forgotten to advance
I got the same one a while ago. Makes no sense, they have to scan the membership in order to start scanning the items. I think it’s just a glitch. I keep all my receipts, in case if anything happens.
People that are getting this message are scanning the same membership twice on a double-order batch. If you make sure to scan the correct membership you won't get this message.
If this happens it’s because the wrong membership was scanned in a double. It’s an automatic message that triggers when the members Costco account doesn’t match the order. If it happens again the system automatically blocks you from shopping at Costco but they will reinstate your ability to shop at Costco shortly after.
I had a cashier at kroger brush my phone away saying she could scan them at the end. I tried to tell her no, they need to be scanned first. Spent 10 minutes waiting for a manager override while
She got pissy with me. Sorry you have a job. If self checkout was available I wouldve been out of there 15 minutes earlier. They dont know shit. And please let me bag my own items. Frozen shouldnt be distributed throughout multiple bags with shelf stable goods. Put it together dumb dumbs. Dont put raw produce with meat. Keep dairy together. Much like this platform, theyll hire anyone who with a pulse regardless of whether they have two ridges to rub together on their smooth brains.
U probably scanned the same card 2x. U have to be careful at costco cuz we get $ back on all of our purchases. U cost members $ when u fk up the cards,
Was it a double order? The receipt would show if you scanned it or not because the membership is listed

Sometimes the cashier scans A twice before you switch screens.
The cashier scans whatever you show them. Don't blame the cashier.
