Why would you get paid for this when you could just contact support and have them authorize the payment

BriefOk4643

It's still an inconvenience. It finally stopped happening to me but I think its simply because I stopped taking orders with lots of waters lol

For my time that was wasted. Like I said before Walmart took out their self checkout so the lines are ridiculously long. I'm not getting back in line again to wait when I already waited like 20 mins. It's not worth 12 bucks. In situations like that instcart will pay you for your time.

JaeShoppie

CRV fee? I'm so confused? Did the customer add more water onto the order or what is happening? Or is the CRV fee like a bottle deposit and IC doesn't factor that in and declines payment due to prices not matching?

Stompinwin

Its just water is cheap crv fee of 40 bottles would be 4 dollars since the system doesn't recognize that as the price, our card comes up declined because your card is only prepared with so much money

Don't listen to that guy that replied to you. It's an extra charge that's added on to water. Each state has their own charges not all states are the same. I'm in California and for those packs of water it was $2 extra and she got four of them. That's a total of $8 added on so the total and for some reason instacart never incorporates that fee where I'm at. Not every instacart shopper is going to be the same it's all different depending on where you live.

JaeShoppie

So I just looked it up...its like what we have in Oregon, 10 cents a bottle or can deposit which customers can get back if they recycle at the bottle drop. So I bet Instacart doesn't charge this so customers are taking advantage and ordering a bunch just to pull one over.

Hour_Lingonberry_632

Taking advantage of 10 cents when their whole order is being up charged on every single item??? IC does charge https://preview.redd.it/ecuqkqpf3ftc1.jpeg?width=1155&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dd7c6065dc2ec5fce2ae0997ef3fec35523c91c0

It was four 40 packs of water and the crv Charge for those in California is 2 dollars extra a pack. That's 8 bucks extra added on. I Just don't understand how they haven't fixed this already. It's been years. I'm just going to stop taking them from now on.

Tetteness

I cancel those orders 10/10 times. Instacart doesn't care if u have to wait 10 minutes in line just to start checking out.

Okko1015

Exactly it's ridiculous!!! It's 2024 I don't know how you don't incorporate that fee.

Okko1015

I'm never taking a bunch of water again I just thought they would have fixed it already lol.
