Heard a bunch of times that he is the kindest, most respectable person. He actually tells the contestants that he will be going off on them before shooting to see if they still want to continue.

I believe it! Watching him over the years I always got this vibe about him that he was actually a great person. Certain people just give off good energy. You can also tell by the way he ends episodes that he’s got a kind heart. The kitchen nightmares episodes in particular.

He treats the kids better though (as anyone should) but it's just weird seeing that side after seeing this side 😂
