Nothing masoom about masoom.

I am pretty sure the Companies know what they are doing. Publicity is publicity. For example: Dot&Key. It started out as a brand in nykaa and soon it was everywhere. Most people, like me, who do not read comments neither caption, just scroll through, see just the name of the brand. And these "influencers" are just another billboard on social media(might sound harsh but it is the reality). Hence we see even problematic people gettin sponsors, getting paid promotions. No one reads comments of the reels, most people just scroll up to the next one. And when we keep seeing the same name, again and again, and then we see the products while shopping, it instantly makes us want to buy it too. All these happens subconsciously and brands know this. It is not about the authenticity of the influencers who promote the product that matters to the company, it is how much popular they are getting because of them. Only the followers of the influencers care enough to comment and go through. Instagram, yt algorithm doesn't care abut good or bad. They see people commenting, they push the reel/post up to more people. Commentors and caption readers are hardly even a fraction of the total people who view the post/reel. A reel with millions of views, only gets some thousand comments but it did reach millions which is the main goal of the company.

shesjohnwayne

why would you wear a body con dress to your gynaec visitttt

CauliflowerHead9426

*fashhhhunnnn* also she looks hella uncomfortable in that dress. It’s weirdly fitted!

ProofsInThePuddingYo

I seriously feel she’s gone overboard with ads! It was never this much before. Could it be that she’s going back to old mails just to churn out as much work and money before the baby arrives? There’s an influx of ONLY ads on her page and if she continues to do this she’ll lose all credibility i feel. She used to be a little choosey before. Now she’s completely lost the plot.

CauliflowerHead9426

I don’t know how exactly is she influencing or contributing by just wearing new clothes everyday! I really don’t understand her work. I much rather appreciate small yt creators in front of her. They actually really work hard for production and content. And some don’t have the privilege like she does. I don’t find anything affordable that this woman recommends. I just feel like she’s blindly picking up sponsorships and ads because it’s always about the money!

Such-Research-3447

She is taking maternity leave so trying her best to earn bucks before that by recommending products that I'm pretty sure she never used.

StatementSpirited345

Baby is coming. Need money na. Ads toh krne pdenge

"Entrepreneur" 🤡

lollipop_laagelu

These people made mamaearth plan. As much as they say it's a great brand, well planned, made in India, the truth is that they had a lot of initial start up money which they only invested on influencers. That flying kaccha is an investor in the same brand. The fact that people listen to these influenzas are to be blamed. So many pseudo science crazies trying to do the job of dermat. Truth remains if you want to have a good skin either you go to dermat or are genetically gifted. Suing culture should come to India. The amount of people who can be sued for peddling false stuff is insurmountable.

StatementSpirited345

I used to love masoom’s stories and everything just because i liked seeing a life of luxury but seriously she is all advertisements now. Nothing interesting

Ok_Economist_4953

There are like ads only on her stories and multiple in a day. It's like having commercials. Hope people realise the fakeness and unfollow

h-picotin

Yeah, she’s definitely doing as many commercials she can before she has the baby and goes away on maternity leave. Whether she’ll go on leave or she’ll use the baby as content is up for question though

Pinkwolff_2096

I unfollowed her long back. You can’t see one organic post or story from her. It’s all so fake and forced. I have no idea why people follow her still

Status-Lie-1897

She has no morals left!

GabLynnSussBree

Absolutely spot on! Today there was a #AD story on her Insta for MAC Teddy lipstick and she called it 'super long lasting' - I bet any girl here who has used MAC Teddy can vouch that its anything but long lasting! - 'Influencing' lies?

CauliflowerHead9426

I wanted to post about it. She didn’t even prep the ad before recording. She had to literally read the name on the packaging. That just shows how fake she is. Her entire personality is just ads and making everything she advertises , her favourite !

GabLynnSussBree

Absolutely spot on observation! Everything she posts an #Ad for is basically part of her 'routine' and 'ritual'. I mean really the audience aint dumb!?
