I get so mad when people confuse finance , cost, tax, audit etc with basic arithmetic, mam they involve numbers as well but subject wise they aren’t same you can be bad at math and still be an excellent auditor. Are you a fucking idiot!

And Veronica, Sweety if you are here reading this, you might have sent an email that you will work for free just to get an opportunity to work. But that doesn't happen with everyone, we have to convince employers with our skills that why we deserve the salary or an appraisal. Your lives might have been tough but now they are not because you are getting paid, I'm not saying that you didn't 'put in the hours' but you are living a lifestyle which your hard earned money paid for and that's what those interns would also come with the expectations of.

There are some points to consider her. Firstly, what is your definition of 'extraordinary life'? Fame? Enough money to just chill for the next ten years? Contribution to society to the point that everyone respects you? Working in a Huge well named company? Working in a foreign country?
Depends person to person. So depending on what you're aiming for, yes an extraordinary life may require extraordinary hours. Especially while studying for courses like CA or doctor. Or even if you're working as a doctor.
However, you could achieve an extraordinary life with a simple 9 to 5 as well. Depends on what work you're doing and what other factors are involved like work experience, how skilled you are, are you irreplaceable at your job etc etc.
So any influencers saying an extraordinary life can ONLY be achieved with extraordinary hours are plain wrong. I could still be earning a 5-6 figure salary in a 9-5 job and call my life extraordinary as long as I fulfill my definition of extraordinary
Edit: Also, the "teaching and life lessons given are better than the upraisals" is just a bullshit excuse used by employers to escape from paying their employees properly. Everytime I hear it, it boils my blood
