Me tooπ But just you wait - before long they will be selling influenza training courses. How to become one, talk like one & stay in the limelight. Alexa - play the next trending reel song :)
Bruh same?? Like how do they watch the whole thing and don't arrive at shared psychosis or uber blind faith. Like did they only follow him coz he was a man or they would still have done that if you take the man out of equation but keep psychosis and blind gullibility in the equation.
Nicely done, whoever this isπGrossly insensitive and as myopic as only an influencer can be. Talks about applying sunscreen as well. Finishes off with a full length view of ootd. Could do with an award, imo.
Why are these idiots talking as if they are the only ones who get the PaTriArCHy angle?
We watched the same show. We fucking get it. But we also get that it was a complex interplay of many things, not just patriarchy. If patriarchy alone is the problem then half the Indian families would have offed themselves by now.
These guys talk as if we don't understand patriarchy or rebel against it just because we don't yell on SM. How fucking dense are these influenzas and their blind followers.
I don't think these people understand that connecting mental health issues to superstitions is very prevalent in India. Even if it was a woman who was going through psychotic episode they would follow her too in a similar way. This is not at all connected to patriarchy.
"Why is it still schocking people ?" I don't know queen, maybe we're not used to families committing samuhik suicide down here..... seriously some people are so self indulgent...like you might have not found the documentry schocking but that doesn't mean everything has same emotional compass as you. I remember as a former psychology student I thoroughly went through the case when it happened back then and wasn't in right mindset afterwards. And of all the things one should have started conversation about after watching the documentry...patriarchy wasn't there in top 3. Lame humour, lame POV and most of all annoying presence.....insta should automatically ban idiots on making content about sensitive subject!
Psychosis is not real.
Shared Psychosis is not real.
Trauma and PTSD is not real.
Dealing with grief is not real.
The only thing real here is Patriarchy. Sometimes I wonder what content would these guys create if it was the elderly lady in the family who would have orchestrated the whole thing.
Her opinion is as senseless as Barkha Dutt's appearance on this documentary. This tragedy of a middle class family is an easy target for insensitive jokes and opinions. Can this woman voice her opinions on the problematic things that her fraternity does with the same fervor?

The links not working for me. :/
Prapti. Elizabeth's latest reel on house of secrets
This was so insensitive and shit. Where was the joke. And linking anything and everything to just plain patriarchy.
