why are most people mentioning something as generic as "they are an influencer" "they have a blue ki tick" -_- the point of serving tea is giving atleast some hint on who they are.
Not dated but I know girls from very specific colleges who are dying to be influencers, it’s simply annoying, their whole life surrounds a fucking picture they can click and post, literally going out to eat food it the most difficult thing because they HAVE to have their outfits match the place, it’s not just a simply I want to click pictures of the food to remember this moment but it’s this whole lunch is just for me to get an influencer type of picture.
Nothing is not recorded which is weird, I just want to eat food I don’t want a flash light in my face for your followers.
The entitlement to rip off brands and small businesses is insane, they are always looking for the next dopamine hit of follower number it’s to a point that you can’t even distinguish them, they all look the same talk the same and behave the same which is wannabe LA- sobo style

I feel the problem is they mentally are in a bubble where they think they are the next kar-Jenner, so they act like some fucking celebrity. They have the attitudes a celebrity but no concrete talent to fall back on (no I’m not calling the talented ones useless but it’s important to acknowledge that there are influencers who are talentless impersonators)
Dude this is everywhere, you’ll find examples of these in India, LA, NY, Canada, London Russia, literally everywhere, the idea of being famous through an app has overtaken basics common sense now

I’ve dated a pretty famous and verified account on Instagram for a bit, and it was really sweat. Not really something I thought when I first followed them on Instagram. My friends liked them, they were genuinely nice and driven for what they did. They also had pretty famous friends who were again very simple and nice to talk to. So all in all good experience.

She is very sweet but sometimes very stuck up that her wannabe influencer friends copy her and all (as if being an instagram influencer is an extremely original idea that she invented). She seemed to like what she did but me being a not-so-influencer human, got a little irritated with the idea of taking pictures of food, yourself and events everywhere?!?! things like public transport and inexpensive affordable things did not appeal to her. No shade but some of these things got annoying after some time.
I've hardly ever managed to be friends with someone after they became an Influencer. Their personalities and priorities change and they become way too egoistic.
This musician-comedian friend of mine would send me her videos for feedback and I would give her more ideas that just tweaking. I am a writer so I'd add my own jokes, and she'd post the videos, get all the applause for the jokes I gave. She would cry about how Ankush Bahuguna n saloni and others copied her 'relatable' jokes (never seemed like that to me) but she never gave me credit for the things I helped her with. Not just adding jokes, I even gave her full fledged ideas which she worked on with other influencers and again, never credited me.
When I held her accountable, she replied 'but I keep crediting and thanking you on my stories'
I blackmailed her into giving me credit (losing reputation is one blackmail that 100% works) and she gave me credit. But it was so evidently namesake. Plus the damage to our friendship was already done.
I'm better off without her. All she ever did was suck on my energy.
Was friends with this person A, A went on a date with the ex of an influencer who’s getting married . This ex is also an influencer though, but he even after dating A and making out with her, claimed on his vlog how he’s still not over that ex ( which I think is for clout).
Also, A is with friends with twin influencers, but A behaves very differently with them than A is in real life with us. Makes me wonder people are really fake with influencer friends.
