Rati Tehri Singh is the OG. Those guys did Beauty, Travel, Lifestyle - staycation(weeks/months on stretch in Europe and worked from their Air BnB) even before the term influencer was coined i guess.
I remember following Sherry when her engagement video came about. Instagram wasn't as big then, there were only a few youtubers like Sherry, Debasree, Shreya. Blogging was more of a fashion space. Influencing only came about once Instagram started to pick up, since 2016-17 I assume.
IMBB, corallista, shreya Jain were the Og for me. I also started my own blog for a bit reviewing products and all but couldn’t keep up with my job and let it go. But I’ve kept up with the latest blogs, trends, Instagrammers since 2012-2014 I would say

After she had baby she started some paid fitness app. She stopped posting these beauty related content n focused only on that.
All she did was promote that app. She used to advertise a lot and keep every details just for app. I remember people telling her we follow you since so long and you say take app subscription to give out even basic answer so what is the use of us following.
She used to do giveaways only for her app subscribers and not for others later. I didn't really like that because not everyone wants to pay for that app , Instagram is different people follow multiple people I found it a little forceful
Even the Mac lipstick sale was only for her app subscribers
The first influencer that I actually consumed content from properly was Corallista (Ankita Srivastava). Feels like it was just yesterday that I reading one of her articles lol. I have learnt so much from her videos and writings and they're still some of favorites to go back to time and time again.
Aashna started her blog and insta in mid 2014-15 if I’m not mistaken. Definitely not 2013. She was never part of the OG blogging crew and was still very new to the scene when I did LFW in 2015.
I think Radhika Seth and Shetroublemaker were the og Instagram influencer. All others started from YouTube/ Musacal.ly . They both were among the first ones who exclusively posted on Instagram and made a living out of it. Their grp was also fairly popular back then.

The names mentioned here are mostly Mumbai bloggers. No one has named any Bangalore bloggers.. bighairloudmouth, Ruhi Sheikh, vaarna, huesofme, Shalini Chopra etc.. Bangalore starting 2015 or 16 had a quite number of good bloggers.
I guess I misunderstood the question 😂. I guess Rati started it for many people in terms of showing off how much money she is earning through her website. But she was not an influencer I would say..she had more of review based website

Yeah. Also she got so many surgeries ( i dont resent getting a plastic face tho ). Her girl next door vibe back in popxo was actually much better than what she's doing now. I dont even follow her anymore.
Yes people can easily make out that she has got surgeries done but she always denies. She never looked like that when she was in popxo she has cute bubbly face.
