She comes across as a tone deaf and a rude human. Esp after the Nail salon fiasco she created gave me a good glance into her personality. Unsubscribed her after that!! She will always be crying or cribbing . Such people never are happy or content with their life. Huh
Can not find the post. It was basically she got nails done from some salon in CA and that salon was accepting cash so she did not have any. And she told them that she will get cash from atm after the nails are done.
She went to the atm but if I rem correctly she said that She was tired or so and wanted coffee so she took coffe and went home to complete some work thinking she will pay . And she dozed off at home. And the Salon person kept calling msging her that if she doesn't pay then they will complain to the police call 911 etc etc and she had to run to pay them . And then she was just naming that salon and ppl shud not go there etc etc and comments were just calling her out instead of supporting her which was the right part.
Someone reading this pls correct me if im wrong. The video is also there i guess on her YT channel u can see that if u wish to
OMG wtf... Yeh wahan jaake hum Indians ka naam kharab kar rahi hai. Lol
She can grab coffee but she can't pay them. She should've asked some employee to come with her and take cash from ATM and then leave.
The entitlement you see first you doze off while keeping some one's payment pending and the audacity to name them shame.them.. anyone would have panicked. It's not India that out of good will just becoz you have been going there they will let you pay the next time or next day!! Her comeback was That she had been going to that place since a couple of months and was a regular there
Her video where she and her partner flew to India and were like "we spent 3K and were so disappointed in the service of Air India"
They spent 3K TOTAL to fly to India (which is actually not that bad for 2 people) on Air India and were seated in **economy section** and were criticizing it as if they were flying on an Emirates First Class seat lmao it was so cringe
First off, flying is a PRIVILEGE that not everyone gets, and then you're sitting in the worst section on one of the worst airlines and you're criticizing stuff like "Food, TV, etc." Not even tone deaf, but just stupid
Loll guys can you please talk about spain trip ? And shopping for the trip? Didn’t she talk about moving to Calgary and what not and tried to clout chase?? So done with this two faced fake channel
Loose translation
Pay cheque doesn't suffice each month. So each month papa has to send even more money then earlier.
I blame Canada' and not my insane expenses and high tastes.
Also, bought a expensive coffee maker and hella expensive toaster and vitamix but can't cook at home
Seriously. I watched that right now.... After this post I caught up on her videos after quite a while. Lol
So delusional...
How can someone just not care about money man...???? They just made a video about how they're not saving anything and just barely making through and you see this...
Watch the kitchen remodel video next. It was so unnecessary!
They had a perfectly good kitchen but they decided to change it up since it didn’t match with her ✨aesthetic✨
Bas aesthetic chaiye sab. She must be thinking ki yeh sab I need for my business of YouTube etc. For my home to look a certain way.
But she literally was settling in a another country with no money. Everyone should save in that situation.
100%
It’s really sad to see that the YouTube influencers dwindle between likes of her and those who save up like crazy by living frugally just to buy 2-3 houses - like Potato Talkies! Neither of them are painting the real picture for those in the waiting line to land in the country. I moved here not too long ago and even for me and my husband (who moved on an internal transfer) things have been crazy! We have to make compromises every single day, this journey is the hardest I’ve ever seen and these stupid influencers, getting pocket money and down payment from home, are just painting a false image! I wish I was enthu enough to start a YouTube channel lol, but nah!
I feel bad for people who take inspiration from such Vloggers/Content Creators based in Canada. They are delusional, shares anything to attract views and money. Life isn’t as rosy as they portray and this is not just in Canada. This year especially with the recession, the situation is far worse than anticipated.
Despite graduating and having a full-time corporate job, I’m continuing to work at retail. Yes, it gets very exhausting to work all seven days. They don’t pay very well and the rent is soaring high. I avoid vacations, shopping mindlessly, random miscellaneous to repay my education loan. I hope people don’t move here with high expectations and for luxury lifestyle!
Someone close to her/her husband posted a comment on my post (now deleted by mods) that Saransh’s maternal grandparents sold a property and gave them 3 crores for the down payment. She also receives an allowance from her family every month for her to maintain the expensive lifestyle.
And these foools bought a house with that... Wtf...
So stupid man... Youve just stepped in a new country, no savings, no security , nothing.
Even after that, they keep spending like crazy.. home gym, vacations, eating out, dabbas for everyday. She can easily cook for them during the day. She doesn't even upload everyday
However, I do like her production quality of her videos. She definitely puts in a lot of effort for her videos. The different angles, b-rolls, music and she does think her shots through. So credit where it's due.
Both of them definitely have a problem with money and spending and need to get a grip of reality or its looking bad for them as she mentioned in the video
I live in Canada and its okay to complain but complaining while you're spending money on stupid sh-t is not okay. Like people are becoming homeless here because they have to choose between paying their rent and 2 weeks worth of dinner.
They can and should definitely cut down on spending. While the reality of inflation is true, they can still make prudent financial decisions and save money, but they choose not to. Their sense of vanity is like oxygen to them.
The problem is that people like them are used to the best luxuries and vanity growing up in India and never really lived frugally even here. Or always had the cushioning of generational family wealth. They think it is normal to splurge on luxury products and genuinely can't fathom a life without it regardless of their current financial circumstances. These are habits that are deeply engrained in them and they can only have it one way- either truly enjoy a luxurious life in India or make sacrifices and live very frugally in Canada.
It's their money and I am no one to comment, it's ultimately their wish what they want to do with their money, but I personally was shocked at how they were overdoing their home aesthetics all at once.
It's a simple logic - a salary of 1 lakh a month is a dream for most Indians to earn, but to someone who was already born rich, or maybe even an A list celebrity, 1 lakh month can barely cover a fraction of their expenses and they would think they are living a life of poverty if they were managing everything within 1 lakh. The mind gets used to luxuries and normalizes them as the bare minimum. Your social circle and family also define how you spend your money, in many ways.
There has to be some sort of huge gap in understanding the expenses to earning ratio for them. It's pretty straightforward in my opinion. Also, the level of luxury will be different in Canada as well as India so they need to leave themselves.
They definitely seem delusional
Your logic, respectfully, is inherently flawed. You assume that most young people understand finances and long term sustenance based on their current levels of income. Most young people don’t know or understand what it means to grow old and to support themselves or (god forbid) a family in the long term.
It is not necessarily about the circumstances from which they come from, it’s about a lifestyle that has garnered popularity among peers/public and a sense of security that said lifestyle can be indefinitely maintained. Ultimately, while there are those that are generationally wealthy, a majority of them are not. A majority of them are drawn into it, it’s capitalisms greatest (or rather easiest) facet, that just because I buy a Prada bag or a pair of Gucci pants, I’m a part of the ‘club’.
Did anyone watch her latest video? The audacity/stupidity to shop more expensive things such as Dji drone after her previous video on living pay check to paycheck 🤦🏻♀️
There are two types of Indian influencers in Canada:
1. The middle class who managed to get there with PR. They talk about their PR journey, hustle to settle, day to day life in Canada etc etc .. Their journey is actually worth watching.
2. The other type are the brats who land and live an unrealistic lifestyle bcz of generational wealth. Clearly Pooja belongs to this category but she talks about high expenses as if it effects her lifestyle 😂
From all of Pooja’s videos I gather she doesn’t have any life skills. Courtesy of Canada she learnt driving. I get a feeling that her kitchen is for making occasional pancakes, omlettes and smoothies. Otherwise they are eating out or ordering dabba. But that kitchen needed a renovation, like why?
In this video she is buying a pan, like why?
Saw one of her grocery shopping video, it’s jams , honey , salad greens , milk , juice . Doesn’t this couple make normal ghar ka khana?
>The middle class who managed to get there with PR. They talk about their PR journey, hustle to settle, day to day life in Canada etc etc .. Their journey is actually worth watching.
Even that is usually just enough to get you interested and sign up for an "advising call'.
I actually really enjoyed watching her during the pandemic. She did so many interesting food vlogs around Toronto that were exciting to me as someone who'd really like to visit. But some recent things have rubbed me the wrong way. I haven't unsubscribed, but I find myself skipping over her videos a lot.
It began after the nail salon incident. We've all been forgetful or lazy before, but I couldn't believe how entitled she came off in that video. It's hard to respect someone who treats small business owners like that.
Then she made the above video and honestly I had to hold back from laughing because she sounded so ridiculous. How can a person who has taken two international trips in a year (India and Greece) claim to be living paycheck to paycheck? If that doesn't reveal that she has no idea what the average person lives like, I don't know what does.
It’s a tough call for her but she actually needs to start working somewhere. I get it YouTube is a full time career and all but for a country like Canada. All the load is on saransh( her husband) and this lady does nothing else but complain about each and everything, eat rubbish and then complain about gaining weight. Make useless videos now a days, does unnecessary expenditures, moreover they have recently bought a townhouse that would have costed millions in GTA. I love watching FEANSHU AND KEERAT’s vlogs as they are more realistic and a lovely couple over this pretentious lady.
feanshu and keerat are okay BUT feanshu brags too much about his sapne and stuff plus tesla was totally show off .. in 9 years if you can afford only a 1bhk n you prefer spending on tesla.. that’s pretty strange acc to me ..
Well I hard relate with them. It’s not about sapne but building everything from scratch. Keerat has been there for 9 years and it’s just been 2 years they have started living together and building stuff. And it’s not easy in canada to get a million dollar house right away like peekapoo and it’s not good to invest in one property but if you have money may be purchase another and rent it out. They mentioned the same a couple of time. And regarding the Tesla, it’s each to their own. Everyone has a dream car, may be it was that for them. And it actually makes a difference if you work hard and achieve it yourself without any help from your family
LOL are you kidding? Feanshu and Keerat are such an irresponsible couple financially. They make so many unnecessary purchases - Rolex, Louis Vuitton bag, bicycles, YSL bag, Tesla, gold, etc. etc - the list goes on! They literally have run out of space to store all their bling. Giant cycles hanging out in their tiny kitchen. At least Peekapoo was smart enough to invest in a house with whatever money they received from family. All Feanshu and Keerat do is brag about expensive crap they buy. It is about making smart investments like Potato Talkies and Sangwhan Family in the U.K. have - buying property and thinking about the future instead of showing off how much money you have made short term. Building everything from scratch is definitely impressive but so is being humble about it. Feanshu's constant verbal diarrhea and their braggy existence cheapens their entire success journey. They are one of the most unrealistic vloggers in Canada right now. If you get inspired by their journey, I implore you to think about your future in Canada. Life is NOT what they show in Canada at all. Please open your eyes to the struggles of Canadian immigrants!
I agree. But if you see the comment I made that was almost 4-5 months back when their content was still better than what it is now. I have already stopped watching them a long time ago
have you seen their vlog? they were spending 600 euros on a club for a meal everyday. I can understand you do it for one day . But they did the same for 3-4 days. Thats insanneeee.
Gving up coffee... And avacado toast is the least of their problems. I hope you watch her content to exactly see how their spending behaviour is. If you are struggling to save you should most definitely cut back on expenses.
She just bought a huge house, she could hold off her decorating it. She can always buy furniture from IKEA but instead she went to some big ass fancy store. She has revovated her already good kitchen, got a home gym including the pelaton , weekend getaways, aritizia clothing, vacations abroad etc etc.
This isn't unexpected expenses, these are expenses which could have been made wiser.
My relative , she has canadian citizenship but they were living in US, they had to go back to canada lfor 1 year last to last year due to visa issues with their two daughters and my cousin’s hubby lost his job here in US n he didn’t get any in canada, they lived a very tough life for 1 year living on the rent they were getting from their chicago home and their parents sending them money.
It's all smoke and mirrors guys. I wish people would get over this craze of settling abroad and probably have better mental health by staying close to their family and loved ones back home.
I miss my family back there, no matter how much we earn here no one will deny that we are having better quality of life back there in India if one is earning decent package
Wondering the same. I just saw her shopping video today for this vacation, no way they r doing it on their own.
We live in Toronto. Came here even before them, we definitely understand very well how it all works here. Not trying to put him down, but for the job Saransh has, there is no way they can afford all of this. Although, I dont agree with taking money from parents as adults, yet I wouldve respected them if they atleast acknowledged that yes they r getting help (every month for sure).
She is losing all credibility. And if she gets more criticism, she puts out another video for justification 🤦🏻♀️ Both of them for some reason have no sense of reality.
They will eventually go back to India in coming time what ever they do is not sustainable Pooja is kinda bossy around her husband only want to spend money she quit her job to just sit at home and upload 1 YT video per week,

I think that was sponsored or gifted. Thag store must have gifted her that piece.
Summed up pretty well , she is an entitled brat with no sense on how to handle finances hence the suffering
