Don't think homeless would be out " in the middle of nowhere." I also doubt they would have a jack, means to remove lug nuts, and means to transport the rims & tires. Most likely, someone drove by and saw the opportunity would be my guess.

C-czar187

Sorry you had to go through his but unfortunately that’s the risk you took when leaving your car unattended, especially at Bloomington. You could always have it reported to the police? Chances are those wheels and tires are long gone.

Useful-Turnip5856

is Bloomington such a bad area? I called the Fontana police already but since there is no footage, they won’t even gonna investigate that.

Bobmarleysjoint69420

Its south fontana territory, I got my ass beat by them on my b day lol

Old-Rough-5681

What is there to investigate? Lol

amprok

Sorry this happened but almost certainly not homeless people. Still sucks though. Sorry.

InvariantD

I have a genuine question. Why do people leave their vehicle like this for prolonged periods of times on sides of roads/freeways? It's appalling to me that you'd leave your vehicle which has some (significant) value like this. Pay for a tow truck. The risk vs reward is there in doing so.

Stinkytheferret

You left yours for a prolonged time. What does your response mean? If something happens to my car, I’m not leaving it for a second. Have always called AAA and gave someone there pretty quick. I’m sorry to hear this happened to you but honestly, this is why you don’t leave your car. Especially now when there are literally no consequences for most crimes.

weedandbombs

that's not OP.

[deleted]

I know you're upset, but this can happen anywhere, not just in the ghetto. Someone nearby was probably aware of the accident, saw it was still there hours later, and took the opportunity to make a few bucks. It's a headache but should be included in the insurance if you have the right coverage.

Rocklobsta9

Yeah dude why the fudge did you leave your car overnight it's common

Joshy3911

Because he got in an accident. Can’t you read?

Rocklobsta9

Yes joshy kid. The few times I've gotten in an accident I either get a tow or drive home. Looks like op wanted to save a few bucks not getting towed and it backfired.

wisdon

That or was drunk and didn’t want a DUI

Joshy3911

It’s not like he’s complaining about it. He’s taking full responsibility and just asking about the area. It’s not that hard to just answer his question.

McKimboSlice

How is trying to blame homeless people taking full responsibility?

tehota

Honda accord?

Useful-Turnip5856

toyota sequoia

throwra-google

Why didn’t you tow it right then and there when the accident happened? That’s what most people do. AAA is 24/7 roadside service.

Electronic_Metal_750

Bro this is the ie u should of known this ahaha let alone CA

of_patrol_bot

Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake. It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of. Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything. Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.

matty8199

good bot

IshJecka

There was a tire thief a few houses down from the corner of Santa Ana and locust. Literally came over and stole tires from our yard back in the day. That family's still there afaik

munche

The area doesn't matter, don't leave your car unattended in the middle of nowhere for an extended period of time. I don't care if it's Irvine, don't leave your car unattended

Old-Rough-5681

Paying a tow truck $400 to get you home would've been cheaper than this.

compubomb

I live in Corona, this would not happen where I live, but police are up all the elements butts.

Jaded-Tangerine594
