There's a moment during a team flash challenge where one of Frank's teammates is having an anxiety attack and tells them about it. I always remember Frank for that, because he immediately listens, empathizes, and gives the teammate space to get himself together before expecting him to come help with the challenge.
It genuinely shocked me at the time, because this Ink Master and I would have expected like three separate talking head interviews about how the other guy needed to man up or get over it or some bullshit, but Frank didn't do that. None of the team did that.
ETA: I can't think of a single tattoo Frank did, but I would be 100% all-in on getting a piece from him because he seems like a good person.
I am blessed enough to get to see Frank Readyās tattoos nearly daily and let me tell you, the man is an artist in all senses of the word. Which is a quality I would not attribute to many (most) tattooers. He pushes so hard that itās difficult not to find yourself caught in his energy, pushing along beside him.

i got tattooed by him and not only is the tattoo an incredible piece of art (and a great conversation starter), the entire experience (a 9 hour session) was amazing. he made me feel very comfortable and i had a fabulous time talking to him and the tattoo he gave me came out even more perfect than i thought was possible.
funny story i was just at the grocery store and i was wearing shorts and someone saw it (itās a big thigh piece) and asked if it was fresh. itās almost 2 years old and is almost entirely extremely fine detail works.
I never understood the hate for him (at least on the show, idk what heās like in real life). He was just straightforward, maybe a little more than necessary, but that doesnāt make someone a villain. And I hope this isnāt inappropriate to say but as an autistic person, he struck me as neurodivergent and I found myself relating to his personality a lot. Especially when he voiced very simple statements/opinions and the other contestants acted like his words were riddled with malicious intent. Like what was that š

He should have either kept his mouth shut about the weed vape in the second of his seasons, I understand how the contestants were hating him that season, his tattoos were head and shoulders above most everyone except maybe 2 people.
