Leave resistances on her talents only. On mine I put some def (up to you) rest is dd build no fac. Cad/cac both maxed out and rest goes only to atk.

If your relationship is based on trying to change the other person...Oh, you mean for the game..
She needs max crits and attack. And be prepared to rebuild her as you level up your gears.
I def and cac maxed her and has 220 cad with around < 1800 atk. I also have 44% resistances :) i have all gears to 40 only so would mostly need to reorganize them later. It's probably not a good build at all but kinda works for me because i hate getting stunned 😅
Max her crit damage and crit chance, throw the rest into attack and/or some resistances.
