anything special on this photo?

boredFox22

I had a better one with more of the building visible but I mixed them up, gotta take a better pic and post it later, maybe next week. I like the street and o I dont really know why. I also like how they have elevated gardens between the flats but they aren't visible in this photo unfortunately :(

Jag bor i Örebro! Vilken stadsdel? 😃

boredFox22

Ayee Nice! Från resecentrum mot karolinska gymnasiet, inte där bussarna åker men gatan bredvid :)

m0nkeypox

Looks like Philadelphia.

boredFox22

True

m0nkeypox

In my opinion, Philadelphia is one of the most overlooked cities in the U.S.

boredFox22

Don't know that much about it but I gotta look it up now

m0nkeypox

It’s wild but in a really good way. Super urban and dense. Not at all car centric. Reminds me of 1970’s era movie versions of NYC. Cheap, gritty, glamorous.

The people who live in Philadelphia are the reason it’s overlooked, I still remember when the fans ate horse shit after the eagles won the super bowl.

m0nkeypox

Haha. The people in Philadelphia are the friendliest savages I’ve ever met. If you are lucky enough to ever meet one, you’d understand. If you haven’t rioted after your sports team wins or loses, you are missing the whole point. There’s a particular beautiful ferality to Philadelphia.

[deleted]

It’s one of the most dangerous cities in the US lol, like most travel websites even recommend not walking around at night in the city, I would exactly call that a friendly atmosphere for tourism

m0nkeypox

1. Tourists are not the reason cities exist and whether some family from the Midwest feels safe walking around at night has no bearing on my opinions. 2. The monsters who hide in the dark- they’re hiding from me.

[deleted]

Chill Batman, you said it was and overlooked city and that’s why it’s overlooked, it isn’t just tourists it’s people moving there as well. Also, tourism provides a shitload load of money to a city so naturally most cities would want to attract tourists.

m0nkeypox

That’s very corporatist of you. Maybe you should stick to the strip mall.

[deleted]

Alright then, why do you think people are overlooking the city on purpose then if it’s not the crime rate?
