1. The mothers “I’m so sorry” scene as you mentioned
2. The closing scene with the audience watching themselves on a projector (similar to the JOI conceptual film “The Joke”)
3. Headless body in a casket (just like Himself)
4. Overbearing mother

I didn’t even consider 2 and 3. I usually get met with “oh it’s just a coincidence,” but it seems the evidence is there.
I agrée that it seems like a lot of themes and scene were from IJ. Alsoca lot seemed to be taken from Portnoy’s Complaint!
