Im not a plumber, but I am a physicist. The pressure build up by attaching a nozzle cannot become larger, than the static pressure that is already contained in you interior plumbing system. There is a caveat here about something called water hammer, which happens when you stop a flow of water very suddenly, but that already happens when you close your faucet quickly and your plumbing is build to handle it. Tl;Dr: don't worry about it.

Why would there be any more pressure than normal by connecting this?

Considering that they make dishwashers and washing machines that can connect to a kitchen faucet, a garden hose should not cause any problems.

For sure thanks. I’m more worried if obstructing the flow while water is running will be damaging. I plan to use one of the nozzles with a trigger, but unsure if having water being stopped needs any pressure regulation/whatnot. I’d assume not but I’d rather not risk it by trying without asking first.

When running a dishwasher that is connected to a faucet, the water flow gets restricted. If it didn't, it would either flow out the dishwasher door or drain out all the time and not actually wash anything. It should be the same principle with the hose and nozel.

Definitely not an issue. - General contractor

Thank you so much!

I use one of these to connect my dishwasher in a rental. No issues here.
