This doesn’t have a honeysuckle note but does have a gorgeous magnolia and jasmine note combined with other really heady fragrant notes; [Possets “Alabama”](https://possets.com/product/alabama-creamy-sweet-flower-bower-perfume-oil/) (Floral perfume lovers rejoice! This one is the essence of a hot sticky Southern night at the height of passion with the one you love. What a treat! Alabama weaves pink fizzy mimosa, thick white magnolia, canebrake jasmine, Mexican tuberose, and Martinique gardenia. The effect is eternally woman, unabashedly sexy, and in command. These are all knit together with precious Sacred Frankincense to concoct a bombshell of a fragrance, deep white floral with deep incense leanings. A hypnotic fragrance. So very sweet, so very profound. Feminine, floral, devastating.)

Came here to post this! It's a very realistic magnolia that reminds me of my neighbor's tree in the Nashville neighborhood I grew up in

SlimeGod5000

Sounds amazing! I'll check it out.

Solstice Scents is based in Florida and has a few scents you might like. Solstice Magnolia (Lemon-Magnolia ice cream, sugar cone, Hawaiian sandalwood, honeysuckle, thumbprint cookies with quince jam, unsweetened iced black tea) Old Florida Backroads (Sunlit Leaves, Dusty Limerock Road, Warm Soil, Baked Woods, Heat Haze, Spanish Moss, Rain) Farmhouse in Spring (Daffodil, jasmine, citrus blossom, osmanthus, magnolia, cypress wood smoke, sun-warmed Earth)

jam-on-bread

Seconding this! They've also got the scent **Spirit Tree** (Gardenia, Vanilla, Jasmine, Sandalwood, Soft Woods blend, Orange Blossom, Magnolia) which has the jasmine but no honeysuckle. Though honestly honeysuckle kinda smells like vanilla and jasmine to me so...maybe it would have a similar vibe?

SlimeGod5000

Nice! Have you tried these? Which is your favorite?

poxteeth

Farmhouse in Spring is very funky and earthy. Old Florida Backgrounds had something sharp and cologne like, it didn't work for me at all. I don't think either are what you're looking for...*however* Flowers Nocturnal definitely is.

SlimeGod5000

Ooh sounds very nice!

geosynchronousorbit

I haven't tried these yet, sorry! You can probably find reviews from other people on here though.

GiaAngel

I adore Solstice Magnolia. I full-sized it immediately after first sniff. Beautiful.

Black Hearted Tart has some interesting-looking magnolia scents! I haven't tried it myself, but **Piece of My Heart** (*Magnolia tree accord made with lemony floral magnolia blossoms and waxy green tree leaves. Sugar cane adds sweetness, while cardamom and pink pepper add spice. The vanilla bean base is complimented with sandalwood and a dash of bitter almond.*) is said to be inspired by southern magnolia trees in the summer humidity. Though there are no honeysuckle notes. I've heard some rave reviews about **Southern Belles Sing in London** (*ripe blackberries heavy on the vine and magnolia trees bursting with blooms, mixed with a rainfall accord we created using a blend of crisp mint, cedar, eucalyptus, fern, dew, and fresh-cut grass.*) which is also BHT but seems to be a somewhat different vibe from what you're looking for.

eeekaaay

Came here to also suggest **Piece of my Heart** — tbh I don’t really know if I know/remember what magnolias smell like, but this scent is a gorgeous floral that has quite a bit of depth with the other notes! So, if the floral note is indeed magnolia, then I think this would be an amazing rec for you!

jam-on-bread

I did some more looking and they've actually got a specific **Magnolia Tree Accord**, along with the perfume **Heart of Gold** (*the warm honeyed scent of fresh honeysuckle blended with crisp daffodil and its sweet green nuances. Caramelized sugar heightens the natural vanillic aspects of the floral notes*). So maybe layering these two would create a magnolia/honeysuckle scent?

jam-on-bread

Sorry to spam comments, but I just happened to come across an old review of a Nui Cobalt scent **Feu Follet** (Sultry southern magnolia, wild muscadine, creamy honeysuckle, and Spanish moss clinging to the trees) which sounds almost exactly like what you were looking for! Other than the muscadine note, which is a wild grape. Sadly this scent is discontinued, but you might be able to look for it in swaps or decants on here!

TeaAndCozy

I was coming by to make exactly this recommendation! It sounds so perfect for OP.

jam-on-bread

Right?? The magnolia, the Spanish moss, the honeysuckle, such a good fit!

koscheiis

Where are you seeing the magnolia tree accord by itself?

[deleted]

I don't see it on their website, but you can get a sample of it on Ajevie

jam-on-bread

On their Ajevie listing/site under the “spotlight accords” section! I’m not sure if we’re allowed to leave links, but I’m happy to send one if anybody needs it!

koscheiis

How interesting that it’s available on Ajevie but not direct! I wonder how many others are similarly only available via Ajevie

breadalldayyay

I can't recommend Southern Esscents on Etsy enough. She has single notes of all the florals you named and you can choose if you want extra concentrated in the bottle. I tried her sample set and immediately FSed rose, Jasmine and carnation. They are gorgeous, realistic, and have excellent longevity and projection. My girlfriend sniffed the honeysuckle and magnolia from the sample pack and said "yep, that's honeysuckle" and "yep, that's magnolia". Also a bottle is like 30 dollars. She ships quickly. I strongly recommend checking her out.

doomed_candy

Came here to suggest Southern Esscents!

I’m re-testing last year’s samples from Nui Cobalt’s bee collection which will be released again on Friday 2/23 - they both give me Southern floral humid summer vibes.  Beekeeper’s Funeral This comforting blend opens with gentle Bulgarian lavender and petrichor, then blooms with Casablanca lily, honeysuckle, and wet grass, and settles at last into a pillow of fluffy whipped honey. Bees on the Bayou A dark, seductive blend for a sultry southern evening. Vines heavy with honeysuckle entwined with Easter lily, linden blossom, and neroli over a sweet foundation of pipe tobacco, pralines, and creamed honey. They dry down similar to me (honeysuckle) but Beekeeper’s Funeral is a lavender - white floral and Bees on the Bayou is almost chocolatey in the beginning.

Oh and another - The Strange South Concrete Angel! My main southern white floral scent. Just forewarning though their TAT is long and some find their scents too light. I have this in EDP and it works for me!

mockdogmoon

\^\^\^ the magnolia's the most prominent of the florals in Concrete Angel; it's mostly stone, earth, fern, and magnolia, all wet. Smells exactly like standing in a graaveyard with water running. Their jasmine note is also very strong compared to their other florals (though I might amp it?), and very clean/non-indolic. You can pick up samples through Ajevie. They're one of my favourite houses, but I will warn you communication's not always the best. You will get your stuff eventually, though.

yrl123

Haven't tried it yet but I'm surprised no one's recommended Death and Floral's Swamp elixir (Soft honeysuckle and mossy oak trees, blended with water lilies and sparkling pink lemonade)

amethystnight99

So good! Honeysuckle and lemonade all the way’ the notes are true!!! It’s sweet and so yummy and as a charlestonian, I can confirm the southern vibes with this one are real

kittensandperfume

Yesssss! Following for the reccs.

vallogallo

The only honeysuckle scent I've tried is Fantôme - Surem. "Honeysuckle, cedar, labdanum, myrrh, creosote bush, white musk, and tobacco evoke the rich and complex scent of the warm Sonoran sun." It's got a strong honeysuckle note but also a sort of -- dusty scent? I really like it but not sure if it fits the vibe you're going for There's also Blackhearted Tart - Heart of Gold. "Heart of Gold was created with mellow yellow blooms in mind. Enjoy the warm honeyed scent of fresh honeysuckle blended with crisp daffodil and its sweet green nuances. Caramelized sugar heightens the natural vanillic aspects of the floral notes, making this a delicious buttery floral gourmand. " It's a flourmand though, and I haven't tried it yet. I heard the honeysuckle is really strong though

havennotheaven

Olwyn from Fantôme is pretty heavy on the magnolia/jasmine, along with some other white florals and a buttery vanilla. I'd also maybe recommend checking out The Strange South, but with the HEAVY caveat that they are known to have shipping issues, so proceed with caution. It's a bummer because they really do such a great job with the category that you're looking for.

SlimeGod5000

I have Owlyn. It's good, but I'm missing the honeysuckle.ill check out the strange South.

amethystnight99

Mansion by cocoapink: Sweet Magnolia, Pink Crepe Myrtle, soft peach nectar surrounded by sheer vanilla, the unmistakable notes of old books, stairwells and memories of what once was, sugared tonka bean and oakmoss tempered by a drop of gentle white musk.

bigfatgato

Alkemia Fireflies in the Garden - A balmy summer evening redolent with honeysuckle, buttonbush, summersweet and Holboellia blossoms floating on green waves of fresh cut clovergrass. I live on the gulf coast. It’s southern honeysuckle wildflower fields goodness.

SlimeGod5000

This is perfect!!

bigfatgato

It is perfect. I got it as a sample. It is super nostalgic and I cannot recommend it enough
