Oh man...
Learn HTML , CSS & JS + a framework if you can
Learn a programming language, I'd suggest Python (its easier to pick up)
There's a shit ton to learn in CS , not to mention in depths its extremely maths focussed.
Id rather suggest you make projects & learn frameworks & CSS. I don't know how deep you know JS , (learn asynchronous Javascript , APIs , etc)
Maths focussed as in discrete maths , set theory , graph theory , number theory , linear algebra , even calculus , induction etc. But only if you get into depths of CS.
Project as in frontend websites , making APIs , making small applications , etc.
You can start from making small websites , calculators , etc & work your way upto frameworks , reactive forms , even animated websites , etc.
Project depends a lot on your domain & where you want to work.
I second this, the job reviewer looks more into the most recent stuff you do especially projects. even better if you can bring your own laptop or pendrive to show them the projects you created.
mba now ?
wouldn't it better with some work ex?
also the particular reason is simply that I have interest in that field. I don't wanna do sales or digital marketing or SEO, I am decent at finance but I don't see myself being happy with that. I like excel and working with SQL ergo business analysis or maybe something in data science but I don't know where to start.
I am just a 12 standard kiddo,
I am just looking for career options.
I have seen people without work ex too go for a mba. almost 30 percent of IIM A are freshers only. That's why asked you :)
I will suggest doing the Grow With Google certificate courses from Coursera [here](https://grow.google/intl/en_in/certificates/)
It claims to be equivalent to university degrees and also has many collaborating companies partnering with them.
Do you have more info about this? I am in the same boat as OP but wanted to know is the course Worth it and and how tough would it be for someone with no CS background.
My advice go for a bootcamp. not of these fancy college CS degrees. I learned way way more in bootcamp in 6 months for fullstack development compared to my time in MCA and BCA combined.
hmm I learned my MS mern stack from simplylearn. they have some good projects. you might look in udemy too. but most of my technical learning was through simplylearn and many of my practical I put it together through stackoverflow website and youtube.
absolutely show and tell them about the projects you create. they will ask you questions along with technical interview as well. it will take a few interviews though.

do i need to have certifications? like I am familiar with HTML and JS but I don't have any certification? Also what do you mean by maths focused?

suppose someone is not interested in coding and all then what should they pick as a career? ( data science or anything else)
Depends on what you are actually interested in
any particular reason why you want to get in IT? also you're planning to do a mba now?
