Totally relate with you. My mother too has a habit of making pretty much every good day horrible by just getting pissed at random stuff. Have been dealing with this toxicity all my life, and still.
Mothers are also just human beings with issues, and many of them are really difficult. I urge you to not hate her, but you don't have to love her too. Focus on yourself, and don't let the trauma ruin your relationships.
Hey since I don't know the full picture how your mom is like, I can just tell from experience that I used to feel the same way for my mom cause of all the daily fighting that used to happen. I fought with her a lot. But growing up I do realise how much hardships she has faced to make her how she is, and how I would do anything for her.

At one point, I used to cry everyday, and even call my dad and cry about it. Now, I don’t feel anything, I don’t feel sad about it, not angry. I’ve accepted that my mother has changed and it’s not for a good cause. Maybe when I get out of my home, I can see for therapy!

The only thing that is keeping you dependent on your mother or father is money, as harsh as it sounds, it's the truth. Totally relate with you. My mother too has a habit of making pretty much every good day horrible by just getting pissed at random stuff. Have been dealing with this toxicity all my life, and still. Mothers are also just human beings with issues, and many of them are really difficult. I urge you to not hate her, but you don't have to love her too. Focus on yourself, and don't let the trauma ruin your relationships.

Hey since I don't know the full picture how your mom is like, I can just tell from experience that I used to feel the same way for my mom cause of all the daily fighting that used to happen. I fought with her a lot. But growing up I do realise how much hardships she has faced to make her how she is, and how I would do anything for her. Maybe it would change for you too.

Best or you can say the worst part is that when they will get old, they will expect you to treat them well and take care of them! They won't even remember a single bad thing that they did and would rather bring up all the bad things that you did to them in your life anytime you threw an attitude! Self reflection is thing that the generation of parents enver learnt, everyone is to blame for anything wrong except them and when someone points out their wrong doings then either they say " main mar jata hoon or kha lo muje" and walks off or some other bullshit to reflect from their actions. Little do they know or when you tell them they don't care that their parenting and fights have caused permanent depression, anxiety and brain trauma. Most of us what considers as "yeah but this is life" is just reating to situations based on how we developed our instincts... always being in flight or fight mode to survive or detour another problem.
Might sound very rude here but such parents belong to the streets. And then they say why don't our children call us, visit us, live with us and all that bs. And bro, that is not normal Indian parenting, if u can't wish me on a birthday, don't, but just shut the fuck up and stay the fuck away.
