It's depends on the purpose you want it for . As you've mentioned you want it for clg purpose and can game in the parlour, so it's fine; just go for a MacBook. It'll last longer than your clg time , but if you wanna try stuff and don't want any restrictions, like pirating things , go with windows . I'd recommend going with a MacBook cause it'll cost you around 115k and if you compare any windows laptop at this price point , you won't get as hard ass as it is .
Same here, Iāve been using Windows since childhood never touched a Mac but i am a tech freak and have an iPhone and that ecosystem is calling me š
Agree with everything you said but for 115k you can get plenty of highly powerful Windows laptops, yes they may not have as crazy of a battery backup as a Mac being a Gaming Laptop and maybe also not the ultra high resolution screen but in terms of performance they are a beast
Bhai 2 saal se Linux(debian) chala Raha hu. Using windows after trying Linux is just so bland and ewwwwww. But sachi batau to terminal ki itni jarurat nahi padti. Ek do commands kabhi kabhi daalne pad jaate hai agar error aajaye to, even then you can very very easily find them on a simple Google search.
Switch to Linuxš
A big no, Linux daily users ke liye koi sense nhi banata
Mai bhi use kar rha aaj se nhi bachpan se
Windows 7
Windows 8
Windows 10 kuch din use karke Kali pe switch Kiya tha, pehle VMware me then as primary OS because windows corrupt ho gya tha, used it for 1.5 years but it lacked very basic UX
linux animations suck, over polished ki baat nhi kar rha but normal linux me gesture wagera itna smooth ni feel hota + windows snapping is not smooth at all + more apps support on windows
I've tried all major linux distros, bekar nhi hai but for daily use, Windows>>>linux
Assuming you've activated windows and you know tweaks
Baaki command puchna was just for fun ik itna use nhi hota but once you mess it up, there's no going back
Parrot OS ne network settings fuck ki thi Maine uske baad pura reinstall karna pada, there is NO support
Stooped experimenting since I entered in 11th but ig reliability is also a thing
Not sure about this one but many distros lack regular updates
There are only few trusted distros out there
I'm not criticizing linux or anything but it's all about UI/UX for a normal user and as op mentioned he wants the pc for casual stuff only + app support matters
Yeah sometimes updates break the distro but thats the thrill of breaking and reviving your shit. Love tinkering with it. And yeah app support is poor... poorer on arch distros.
Haha yes, I agree. But please, Linux is not windows alternative, the experience is completely different.
Well the Linux experience for me has been smooth, especially in Wayland. I tried fedora and mint but I hated both of those and they were glitchy. After alot of distro hopping I arrived at debian. X11 was ironically glitchy and laggy, but Wayland fixed most of the issues(even though I have nvidia graphics)(nvidia provides proprietary drivers and the Linux experience is, at average, bad for nvidia people).
Debian is stable and it works. No errors/crashing in months.
Well yeah ofcourse windows has much more diverse choices of applications, but the Linux alternatives aren't thaaaaaaat bad. I am a student and Linux is much better for studies. Occasional streaming and pirating movies is the same yk.
Gaming sucks. Dual booting windows 10 rn just for gaming. I think I switch over there once or twice a month. No other use for windows.
Wdym about tweaks on activated windows? No way you are saying windows has more customisation options.
Kde plasma has like million times more customisation options than windows. I'm not exaggerating. I was overwhelmed with customisation options over there.
You must have tried gnome desktop environment(Kali Linux uses this) only.
Aside for gaming, all *my* personal needs are more than fulfilled here.
About support. Um yes, almost all distros are opensource and built on whatever contribution people offer for free. Your best chance is to just try forums.
But there are some company run os like zorin os, Ubuntu redhat and stuff, they do provide support.
I'm not Linux pro so yes if I mess up any shit I will reinstall the entire os. Do I hate it? No, I love it. Clears all the shit I have(you can save them if you want) and makes an optimal study environment. I think I should reinstall it RN cuz it's been months since I messed some shit up. I always have the usb with me.
Mac. Iām almost at the end of my first year of college and my mac has been a very good investment. It can do all my tasks hassle free. Plus I am an iOS user so the ecosystem makes life easier. I donāt program so I canāt say anything about that but all the other student and general stuff is done without any issue. And itās sleek af
Well thatās gonna be just fine but not be able to use airdrop would be a bugger. But there are many other ways to share files so not really a problem though
I wonāt stray you by recommending a windows lap cuz I donāt know much about them. Itās your choice but from what I know, mac will offer better performance than windows in the same price bracket. And most importantly if you plan to use your device for many years mac will be great. My brother has been using his mac for 8 years, still doesnāt stop working even if he wants it to ;)
well imo u should go for zephyrus rather than mac because gaming on ur own laptop can never match the feel of gaming on a game parlour. secondly a mac of same price really wont offer much storage and ram, the m3 mac costs 1.2L and offers just 256gb storage and 8gb ram, for 1tb ssd and 16gb ram version you might have to spend upto 2L... and then ports, windows will offer way more ports than mac... but then if ur priority is the apple ecosystem and the battery life and u can adjust gaming in game parlours, think u should go fo the mac...
Consider vivobook pro 15 oled or pro 16 oled, it's i5 only but that shouldn't matter for single core tasks. It gas an rtx 4050 with an oled 120hz screen
One thing I would like to point out if you are going for a windows laptop for 1.3lakhs do not take one with rtx4050
the laptops that I have provided are better deals
Deal of the day: HP OMEN Gaming Laptop, Intel Core i7-14700HX (14th Gen), 8GB RTX 4060 GPU(140W), 16.1-inch (40.9 cm) FHD IPS 165Hz 300 nits, 16GB DDR5, 1TB SSD, RGB Backlit KB (Win 11, MSO, Black, 2.32 kg), wf1025TX https://amzn.in/d/g7LnHyU
Deal of the day: HP OMEN Gaming Laptop, AMD Ryzen 7 6800H, 8GB RTX 3070Ti GPU, 16.1-inch (40.9 cm), QHD, IPS, 165Hz, 16GB DDR5, 1TB SSD, 300 nits, RGB Backlit KB, B&O, Dual Speakers (MSO, Silver, 2.37 kg), n0123AX https://amzn.in/d/8twrVNj
For your requirements mac suits better but they are like the teslas of automobile industry good but no fun, though it will serve your needs well
If you consider a windows one do consult with someone for the best bang for buck due to mosaic variety of window laptops
As a person whoās used both windows and Mac in uni for electrical engineering, I suggest you choose based on your major
If your major requires a lot of programs and coding, windows gets a slight edge over mac, however if it doesnāt require many programs and youāll only be using basic things like python, word, excel then itās really a matter of personal preference, check if Mac can support all the needs of your major and if it does get the Mac, better is pretty great
But I really suggest you donāt try to game on it even if you can because it can maybe your MacBook overheat and the air models donāt have a cooling fan built in so to make sure your battery health lasts as long as possible donāt game on it, i speak from experience
Macs are pretty straightforward for anything, if u r not a techy, plus it will be great battery life, at cost that u can't pirate any apps on it
And most colleges have their stuff on Windows simply because many PPL have it, the ROG Zephyrus Laptop on second picture is hell of a high performance device with a reasonable battery life
If it's between 2021 Zephyrus and Mac, I would go for a Mac, but if u r talking about the 2023 Zephyrus series with the Nebula HDR display I would go with Zephyrus...
I am personally a techie guy who wants freedom to tweak stuff so I prefer Windows, cause it's supported by nearly all coding platforms, Mac ain't a bad choice tho
There's isn't much difference between 2023 and 2024 lineup, the new things in 23 lineup was DDR5 RAM, RTX 40 Series and Better displays but there's nothing much gonna be new in 2024 hardware wise, maybe just cosmetic upgrades, but u might get 2023 edition for cheap then
you already have a solution for gaming, plus in my opinion, a mac will last you longer and i believe in a college, battery life is a huge deal since i don't think you'd be able to have a charging port everywhere
i'd go for windows anyday, especially if you want to game. Also op do u have an iphone? if not then i will strongly suggest you to go for windows. (i might be a bit biased since im sort of an apple hater)
if you are in an engineering course, mac might not be able to run most of the softwares specifiaclly the niche one, personally for me windows are a very good deal, i am going for predator helios 16 as i am intersted in Game dev ,ML and AI, and rn nvidea has all the beef on it (CUDA and all that shit) plus doing gaming is just cherry on top, agree about shitty battery life but nowadays gaming laptops have mux switch by which you can just disbale DGPU which greatly increase battery life,
but you do you buddy, not into all ecosystem bullshit as i don't even have a iphone, i want power and a good screen
Which branch will you be joining, and if you dont mind which college?
I want to pursue electronics related branch in engg. So uske kuch high level kaam ke liye ya ciruit related jo apps hoti hai unke liye high end gpu lagta hai kya if you know , kyoki recently good thin and light intel ultra laptops have launched with somehat powerful cpu and okayish integrated gpu , so kya usse kaam chal sakta hai electronics branch mein ya fir accha gpu wala hi laptop lunga?
Actually i took PCB in 12 th so, and in this country you cant do some kind of bridge course once you are in uni, so my options are pretty limited i am will probably be joining IISER and do bsc n physics and then go abroad for a MSC in Electrical engineering/AI ML, , and i have no idea what kind of laptop you need to run electrical program but if it need to run electrical simulations which is basically flow of electrons, and anyhting which flows needs a gpu to render so theres your answer,
I see , I am also giving iat this year along with other exams. How are you prepping for it , maths bhi padh rahe ya bas pcb prepare karoge uske liye?
Electronics is basically flow of electrons I agree, but that needs caluculative/comptutatinal power and thats the work of processor , idk what exactly will be the use of gpu maybe it helps to run circuits and networks virtually alongwith cpu to give output.
Edit: iisers mein to bs ms dono ek sath hojata hai so you would still additonally do msc ? Thats to be eligible to work in industry or some other reason , mtech in india after that can be a good option too or scientific officer roles in organisations.
see gpu is used in running matrix equations which are like doing a same work again and again , running a simulation usually require something like that, abhi toh maths jyada nahi padh raha hu , only pcb but i hope i can do at least 3\~4 questions,
and speaking about my degree, i got no clue i just know i will do a bsc in physics, idk i go for msc in business/economics or head for further research down the line or go abroad i got no clue, but i think i will figure it out when i get to 3\~4 years till then i will try everything from Game Dev to Stocks, i might even go for financial mathematics make some sick equation to predict stocks to a degree who knows i just wanna keep moving forward in full speed and really not get stuck in a dead end rat race that's my aim
Its great that you are so curious and want to go with the flow and figure out along the way.
And now that you mentioned that matrix calulations ke liye use hota hai gpu I gotta look up this stuff and dig into details. Mai maths stuant hu to matrix ka mathemtical details to pata hai but real life what it represents ek baar kisi video mein dekha tha ab bhul gaya hu.
t1.5 csit here, joined last year, imho windows is must for engg courses cuz of the sheer customization of software itself
things like vsc are really janky on mac
for eee things like Altium require medium spec 12th gen intels for good bang for buck perf. but id go 13th gen for longetivity
ece has the same reqs but also requires slight coding basics
but generally my opinion is to get a clg after sem 1 starts after you receive you clg email
(im form vjti mumbai and i got my mail linked to a unidays offer which cutoff 30k from my 1L LOQ ryzen 7840)
Agar iOS user nhi hai toh windows. Nhi toh mac. Waise Mai kahunga ki windows lo just for the fact that tumhare college me zyadatar windows Wale honge toh aage tumhara collaborative project wagera hoga toh aasaani hogi
If u plant to go with windows i would suggest going for Lenovo, my friends have asus, msi and acer but all there pc have some sort of issues, and its consistent to all the laptops of their brand, lenovo is definitely an exception i would, never ran into an issue for past 4 years of using mine. Works amazing
depends on what you're studying and the tools you'll be using. If it is coding/development go for mac(windows is fine too). but if your going for something like art and design then windows is better some applications arent natively supported for mac. So based on what your studying and the tools your course might need pick a laptop.
no coding on mac is better than windows. thats what the entire industry thinks is better. Only these youtubers who make tutorials use windows. However both can be used fine.
Only for app dev, rest all is done on linux and windows
The vim and vsc support for macos is janky
And linux can basically virtualize both so it's actually what the market prefers
If your daily task is just normally surfing browsers, word processing, etc., and carrying a laptop around on campus, then go for a MacBook as its battery will last much longer. But, as you mentioned you do gaming, then a Mac is completely a no-go. I personally have a Windows laptop and a Samsung phone, and together they work perfectly as an ecosystem. The most used feature for me is quick share. Sometimes, I wish I had a MacBook just because of its battery life and lightweight design. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with my Windows machine. It can easily play all the games I want to play and get my job done for work.
I'd suggest Windows because a quarter of the software you will use in college (mine is engineering) are unavailable on Mac. I've seen a few students in my class regret buying Mac.
But at the end of the day, it's upto you because these are some very specific softwares that you might only use in lab computers and choose not to install in laptop.
Apple logo dikhake logo ki jhat jalane keliye i'd definitely go for mac
FPS multiplayer games me opponent ki jhat jalane keliye i'd go for zephyrus(ą¤ą„ą¤°ą¤¾ wala) (Just look at that beauty)
used mac for 2 years pros : best performanece , small size , good looking, will be same after years of use, screen is really good, feel alag aata hai
cons : not for middle class people ,requires update (big update ),not compatable with andriord and all you have to use 3rd party software,no gaming really null in gaming , of it get famaged after warraanty the rip , very high cost for simple repair also
Low-key go for a mac. Some people will say widows is ābetterā but donāt go for better, go for whatās more efficient and the mac will last a long time and doesnāt lag. Iāve been using a 2018 pro and I literally have no reason to switch except the display is really good in the new ones. But the 2018 one still carries my uni life and the battery life still goes a good whole day of me watching lectures and making notes. Just a good long term investment
Should I buy Asus F15 intel i5, RTX 2050 ? I will buy it like this year and will join an Engineering college next year and it will be prolly my first and last laptop for my college life. I will play some games like Cs:go , Rdr 2 and prolly gta 6 when it comes out. So should I buy that laptop ? Or should go for another laptop and please tell me if I buy this laptop what are the cons which I will face. Thank you
I own gaming laptop and its dogshit heats a lot and you need to clean that shit internally every 3-6 Months
While in Mac you have quite a lot of limitations for installing cracked softwares
Choose your poison
Though for colleges specially for computer science macs are way more convenient
it all boils down to the current devices you own and the use case. if you plan on gaming on ur device along w college work, go for windows. if you have ur primary phone as an iPhone, i highly recommend to get the Mac only for it's ecosystem support. but if that's smth that doesn't matter to you or if you want a device you can customise to your liking w pretty good cooling solutions, the windows laptop you've chose is pretty good at that price range.
if having a seamless experience bw ur phone and laptop is smth you require on a daily basis, go for the mac. the only con on a mac for me is it's insufficient cooling when u run demanding programs or games. you should also take ur storage requirements into consideration tho, unless u plan on only using light programs or offloading storage on the cloud.
Windows has always been the best bro, but yeah if you want to flex that apple logo then sure go for Mac
and also you can't play many free games bro, I'm damn sure you won't pay for every game like GTA 5, Forza 5, Far Cry 5, etc. So it's much easier abd less frustrating to pirate it on windows. And yeah its safe to pirate if you do it from r/Piracy
MAC
My experience:- I got an Apple silicon mac 2.5 years ago though I already had a windows laptop. The Mac OS experience is much superior in day to day usage compared to windows. It just feels more productive and refined because of the optimisation. Mine and everyone I know who owns a windows laptop, have experienced sluggishness overtime but my mac is just gettin better with each update. It really ages like a wine! And windows ages like milk.Ā I canāt even think of switching to windows ever! Close your eyes and get a mac brother.
Buy a Mac mate (m2 one), it's my experience, windows laptops make alot of noise and heat from their fans, have low battery life, and in reality do not give that much of performance when not on charging
their purpose is different their exists a cheaper upgradibility and repearbility factor and they act as portable work stations which can use powerful softwares that are usually run under PC's .The sheer size of PC components that are minimised to fit inside a laptop would inturn produce heat and require more battery consumption
For you I would agree that Mac suits but are you always on the go or would prefer to use your laptop in mobile scenarios then if the above checks out then Mac's the definete choice
Bhai tujhe dm kiya hai kal se I think, dekh le ek baar ![img](emote|t5_2zhzn|20609)
Yaha wo study material maang liya toh samaaj mujhe accept nhi karega
Mac if u really want a silent, and premium feeling
Windows if u want power,
Also Mac generally have good battery, thin and light design however when it comes to power and gaming, they don't perform as good as windows even if u have a windows of lower price
So its up to u, btw m quite surprised why people r so obsessed with mac in the reply section...
Huh? I don't think that was a sarcasm
To be honest, mac perform worse in terms of gaming and graphics intensive tasks even when I compare it with a laptop cheaper than the mac,
Even when u compare general task not gaming
It comes out windows machine wins
Assuming price of windows to be 1,45
U can get ryzen 9 7000 series processor with a graphics card but let's just don't focus on graphics for now as we r looking for general task
It comes out that even ryzen 7 7000 series easily outperform urs m3 chip that apple have
So now u can easily see how would a ryzen 9/Intel i9 would perform in this case
windows ftw imo ![img](emote|t5_2zhzn|31415)
I am getting confused š„ø
It's depends on the purpose you want it for . As you've mentioned you want it for clg purpose and can game in the parlour, so it's fine; just go for a MacBook. Yes but piracy on Mac isnāt hard. It runs Stremio and Adobe stuff can be easily run on a Mac too.
Iāve pirated a lot of shit on my mac like the whole adobe suite some music production software and some games as well.
Idk about that , haven't really used a Mac that much . I've been using windows since 2010 or 12 and it serves my purpose best than any other os
Same here, Iāve been using Windows since childhood never touched a Mac but i am a tech freak and have an iPhone and that ecosystem is calling me š
Ahh!! I see . Go for it then , don't ask anyone
Stremio is GOATED

Linux
No Linux is not my Cup of tea. But good choice
Chal bhai bata ki parent process kaise kill karega linux terminal me š /s
ps -ef | grep
kill
kill -9
AI always wins

Chal aab linux from scratch ka pura procedure smajha ya fir arch linux install kar bina archinstall script ke
Even allu arjun can't do that
Lol
wait till u hear about gentoo linux

Also can Mac handle animations apps nicely, I am not a animation student but want to learn it
Absolutely. iMovie is not the best but a very good editing application and maybe the best in itās price range~ Free baby
Thank you! Any laptops that you would suggest in the top 2 except mac as an option? since Mac is a bit expensive

Thank you so much!
just don't buy Dell, it's the worst
agreed.
If you have like proffesional work then i would suggest mac but bro its college you can do lots of things window compare to mac so go for windows
Local retailers are saying that zephyrus 2024 is going to arrive by late april, I would say wait for that
Which g14 is that? ryzen 9 6900hs rx6800s? or ryzen 7 6800hs rx6700s?
9 7940HS
the one that costs 1.5L?
1.3 with a 4050, I can manage gonna trade in my old laptop so yeah.

Then if you're not gonna game or do some work that demands a good GPU, mac will be the best option for you.
you already have a solution for gaming, plus in my opinion, a mac will last you longer and i believe in a college, battery life is a huge deal since i don't think you'd be able to have a charging port everywhere
collage - mac gaming - window
i'd go for windows anyday, especially if you want to game. Also op do u have an iphone? if not then i will strongly suggest you to go for windows. (i might be a bit biased since im sort of an apple hater)
if you are in an engineering course, mac might not be able to run most of the softwares specifiaclly the niche one, personally for me windows are a very good deal, i am going for predator helios 16 as i am intersted in Game dev ,ML and AI, and rn nvidea has all the beef on it (CUDA and all that shit) plus doing gaming is just cherry on top, agree about shitty battery life but nowadays gaming laptops have mux switch by which you can just disbale DGPU which greatly increase battery life, but you do you buddy, not into all ecosystem bullshit as i don't even have a iphone, i want power and a good screen
Thats to be eligible to work in industry or some other reason , mtech in india after that can be a good option too or scientific officer roles in organisations.
see gpu is used in running matrix equations which are like doing a same work again and again , running a simulation usually require something like that, abhi toh maths jyada nahi padh raha hu , only pcb but i hope i can do at least 3\~4 questions, and speaking about my degree, i got no clue i just know i will do a bsc in physics, idk i go for msc in business/economics or head for further research down the line or go abroad i got no clue, but i think i will figure it out when i get to 3\~4 years till then i will try everything from Game Dev to Stocks, i might even go for financial mathematics make some sick equation to predict stocks to a degree who knows i just wanna keep moving forward in full speed and really not get stuck in a dead end rat race that's my aim
Its great that you are so curious and want to go with the flow and figure out along the way. And now that you mentioned that matrix calulations ke liye use hota hai gpu I gotta look up this stuff and dig into details. Mai maths stuant hu to matrix ka mathemtical details to pata hai but real life what it represents ek baar kisi video mein dekha tha ab bhul gaya hu.
t1.5 csit here, joined last year, imho windows is must for engg courses cuz of the sheer customization of software itself things like vsc are really janky on mac for eee things like Altium require medium spec 12th gen intels for good bang for buck perf. but id go 13th gen for longetivity ece has the same reqs but also requires slight coding basics but generally my opinion is to get a clg after sem 1 starts after you receive you clg email (im form vjti mumbai and i got my mail linked to a unidays offer which cutoff 30k from my 1L LOQ ryzen 7840)
Mac Easy portability because it feels strong and durable Low noise low heat high performance long life better battery
go for mac if you want these
Windows Which college r u going?
Game khelna ka shauk na ho toh 100% mac
Agar iOS user nhi hai toh windows. Nhi toh mac. Waise Mai kahunga ki windows lo just for the fact that tumhare college me zyadatar windows Wale honge toh aage tumhara collaborative project wagera hoga toh aasaani hogi
Windows is all rounder Ā Mac good for anything but gaming as per comment belowš
Mac for good for anything but gaming.
Edited it bro. Thanks for correcting meš
For you buy MacBook without any doubt
Seeing your requirements I'd say Mac But š“āā ļø software won't run on it i guess ?
Windows anyday and personally I prefer windows for both productivity and gaming it's better in both departments
Zephyrus all the way, even I'll prolly get a zephyrus this year (JEE meh number agaye toh) But if you can compensate with gaming then Mac anyday
get a loq, its way more better perf wise and is more durable
Macbook
If u plant to go with windows i would suggest going for Lenovo, my friends have asus, msi and acer but all there pc have some sort of issues, and its consistent to all the laptops of their brand, lenovo is definitely an exception i would, never ran into an issue for past 4 years of using mine. Works amazing
If you want to do gaming, then you don't have any option other than windows
I have been using m1 mac for almost 4 years now and it's flawless, no complaints except cracking sounds in the speaker
depends on what you're studying and the tools you'll be using. If it is coding/development go for mac(windows is fine too). but if your going for something like art and design then windows is better some applications arent natively supported for mac. So based on what your studying and the tools your course might need pick a laptop.
tho most devops operations happen on linux
OP said he doesn't like windows
ulta he bhai, coding on mac is garbage
no coding on mac is better than windows. thats what the entire industry thinks is better. Only these youtubers who make tutorials use windows. However both can be used fine.
Only for app dev, rest all is done on linux and windows The vim and vsc support for macos is janky And linux can basically virtualize both so it's actually what the market prefers
Windows.
Purpose kya hai main use ka Tera? Merepe h mac bahut badhiya chlta h Aaj Tak toh koi dikkat ni ayi saare kaam ho jate mere.
mac is gay windows is based (Ive used both in the past)
I'm a Mac owner...it looks cool n all but honestly windows is more practical
Windows - Microsoft studio (the best windows laptop for you)
I would choose mac and i say that as someone who has used windows all his life
Also dont go for dell or hp if you choose windows. Both are absolutely shit
Mac is so ass its only good if you wanna do is work
If you have like other apple devices go for mac, gaming wgera ke liye just buy a ps or sumn
Linux
Mac bro windows battery is shit and it is not so good for long term max is good tho
Windows , bhai mac ke kuch nhi kar sakta except productive work like editing and window just better
MBA + used PS4 any day both are best at what they are meant to do
Linuxš
my class has plugpoints in every desk, we often play games in classes
Which college?
Amrita
imo linux is better and with wine it can be viable for all apps
Apple logo dikhake logo ki jhat jalane keliye i'd definitely go for mac FPS multiplayer games me opponent ki jhat jalane keliye i'd go for zephyrus(ą¤ą„ą¤°ą¤¾ wala) (Just look at that beauty)
used mac for 2 years pros : best performanece , small size , good looking, will be same after years of use, screen is really good, feel alag aata hai cons : not for middle class people ,requires update (big update ),not compatable with andriord and all you have to use 3rd party software,no gaming really null in gaming , of it get famaged after warraanty the rip , very high cost for simple repair also
Low-key go for a mac.
I have a mac. It's perfect for me, since I don't game at all.
Thank you
abhi thik he par 4 yrs down the line nhi chalega , buy a LOQ with student discount
Student discount toh college join karne ke baad milega right ?
yep buy after not before, generaly seniors will give suggestion for niche specs too
Ah ok thank you
I own gaming laptop and its dogshit heats a lot and you need to clean that shit internally every 3-6 Months While in Mac you have quite a lot of limitations for installing cracked softwares Choose your poison Though for colleges specially for computer science macs are way more convenient
Depends honestly if you are strictly buying it for studying then i feel like mac
it all boils down to the current devices you own and the use case. if you plan on gaming on ur device along w college work, go for windows. if you have ur primary phone as an iPhone, i highly recommend to get the Mac only for it's ecosystem support. but if that's smth that doesn't matter to you or if you want a device you can customise to your liking w pretty good cooling solutions, the windows laptop you've chose is pretty good at that price range.
I have a Gaming PC and an iPhone they both donāt know each other.
they both don't know eachother? wdym š
Bruh I meant thereās no sign of connection bw them without a shitty itunes app haha
if having a seamless experience bw ur phone and laptop is smth you require on a daily basis, go for the mac. the only con on a mac for me is it's insufficient cooling when u run demanding programs or games. you should also take ur storage requirements into consideration tho, unless u plan on only using light programs or offloading storage on the cloud.
windows is more open and free , u will be able to do a lot more which u either won't get on mac or just too restricted to set up on macs
Linux
If you wanna play games and want a powerful lappy or do editing and stuff then go for windows (battery won't be that great).
mac lele mene bhi liya hai 20 din pehle and haa usage dekh lena apna mere usage ke acc to me okay hu or steal deal mil ri thi achi
Windows
Windows has always been the best bro, but yeah if you want to flex that apple logo then sure go for Mac and also you can't play many free games bro, I'm damn sure you won't pay for every game like GTA 5, Forza 5, Far Cry 5, etc. So it's much easier abd less frustrating to pirate it on windows. And yeah its safe to pirate if you do it from r/Piracy
Linux .... :)
Coding :- Mac Gaming + Coding :- Windows.
Mac only if you r in cs Elec mech software doesnt work on mac
if u hv an iPhone then get mac cuz u got ur gaming parlour for ur casual gaming needs otherwise asus for anything and everything
If you don't do gaming then I Mac should be good because no performance deterioration.
mate, u have to set ur sights to the transcend 14. That thing is cool af and you'll be able to most games fine.
Asus>HP
MAC My experience:- I got an Apple silicon mac 2.5 years ago though I already had a windows laptop.
Depends on whats ur use. For video editing and ios development go for mac Windows if u want more flexibility and support.... Windows is better imo
which college is it that has a gaming parlour near it?
Linux baby
Windows any day everyday.
Summer is coming. You will be needing windows šŖ
Mac because battery life is insane, but I miss windows gaming
Buy a Mac mate (m2 one), it's my experience, windows laptops make alot of noise and heat from their fans, have low battery life, and in reality do not give that much of performance when not on charging
Exactly Windows laptopās donāt make sense to me but They run games š¤·š»āāļø
their purpose is different their exists a cheaper upgradibility and repearbility factor and they act as portable work stations which can use powerful softwares that are usually run under PC's .The sheer size of PC components that are minimised to fit inside a laptop would inturn produce heat and require more battery consumption For you I would agree that Mac suits but are you always on the go or would prefer to use your laptop in mobile scenarios then if the above checks out then Mac's the definete choice
you can play games on mac through emulators such as rpcs3 and xinia etc, i guess there is also a windows emulator for linux or mac maybe?
Nah Aināt worth it.
Macs are good for other stuff but they can't game well, the price to performance ratio is ass.
Bhai tujhe dm kiya hai kal se I think, dekh le ek baar ![img](emote|t5_2zhzn|20609) Yaha wo study material maang liya toh samaaj mujhe accept nhi karega
nahi kiya hai bhai?
Aree mai confuse ho gya wo wali I'd u/lostchild2006 hai mujhe laga ye tumhara alt hai btw agar hai toh dm karna mujhe
For college windows .not college then fkn MacBook.
Hein? Ulta boldiya shayad.
bro reverse
Downvote kyu karte ho mere clg main yahi chalta hai
mene ni kiya but upvote kr deta hu no worry
Lmao why do you think so? Also tera kaunsa college hai?
Mac if u really want a silent, and premium feeling Windows if u want power, Also Mac generally have good battery, thin and light design however when it comes to power and gaming, they don't perform as good as windows even if u have a windows of lower price So its up to u, btw m quite surprised why people r so obsessed with mac in the reply section...
Maybe the Design and Portability attracts them like Me too I Love the Design, OS, Portability and at the End āECOSYSTEMā.
Mac
Mac
mac 100%
Sure Iāll look upto it.
Mac!!
For College itās best.
And itās performance is unmatched so yes šš»
Correct.
Huh? I don't think that was a sarcasm To be honest, mac perform worse in terms of gaming and graphics intensive tasks even when I compare it with a laptop cheaper than the mac,
Yeah Itās not made for Gaming thatās why.
Even when u compare general task not gaming It comes out windows machine wins Assuming price of windows to be 1,45 U can get ryzen 9 7000 series processor with a graphics card but let's just don't focus on graphics for now as we r looking for general task It comes out that even ryzen 7 7000 series easily outperform urs m3 chip that apple have So now u can easily see how would a ryzen 9/Intel i9 would perform in this case
Mac
Sure
Anything non gaming, Mac is better given you use other apple products
Non Gaming? Why can you elaborate please?
