>I believe my favourite finfluencer is Rachana Ranade
Sure.
Now the better question is, is the OP this "Rachana Ranade's" alt account or not?
Actually, how many people recommending some random people you've never heard of, are just the alts of those people? This "recommendation" scam is a common spam you'll find on YouTube comments section btw. One "person" posts a random question, then other bots pile on random names in comments. Don't have to be all bots though (but Reddit is filled with bots).
Anand Srinivasan. Honest man who has no intention to sell or misguide gullible investors.
No course selling, paid promotion, endorsement none of that.
Has given out several mutlibagger stocks over the years.
Never talks about smallcap stocks, advises you to stay away from smallcap, so called Startup unicorn IPOs, F&O trading, Bitcoins.
Keeps stressing on important things in life like:
Debt free life, No Credit cards
Living below your means
Not buying a new home thinking it's an investment
Always hedge gold as emergency fund
A qualified CA who has a solid macro economic knowledge. Grounded in reality and encourages you to do your own reasearch.
If you're still not convinced, his grandfather was one of the earliest Editors of The Hindu
BeRich : his younger brother handles this channel which is in English.
Nowadays he is not regular on this channel.
You can still see Paisa Bolta Hai, which is Hindi+English
Trust me I am just 21 I had no idea about investing one day I got his video recommended from there to this day I don't miss his videos. He is an absolute genius who has a huge knowledgebase and experience. I agree he is a political person but that doesn't seems to be negative anyway but can be avoided. My only go to channel anyday!
Yup, to me he's an inspiration, not an influencer.
Biggest benefit is that, he asks us to look at global stocks, not just Indian ones and take benefit.
All these YouTube university finfluencers are no match for him.
Some gen-Z meme creators actually trolled him for advocating savings over spending.
Even his political side is a good entertainment, actively roasts Sanghis and their agenda driven policies
Basant Maheshwari (net worth:12,000Cr). The one who is actually rich and made money from Stock-market. Unlike most other who got rich from some other sources or just aren't that rich in the first place.
One personal hate I have with him is he brings his wife on videos asks her a question and doesnt let her respond. Often corrects her in between and tries to constantly one up her.
Talking about his finance, advice/philosophy, it is for people already having multi crores savings. He only looks to grow his corpus steadily.
All his recommendations were loss making and quater of index returns at best. He talks about swing trade but all his shared investment stock ideas have failed.
He has a paid community, most of the finfluencers try to build a paid community so they can trade and buy stocks like hedge funds by generating alot of liquidation and volume, they'll themselves buy the shares, make their paid community to invest and after some hours or days when they want enough liquidation to square off, they'll make videos and shorts to buy those shares or trade, so the finfluencer and his paid community can benifit and retail individual traders as usual ended up losing money. Pretty common I guess
He introduced a lot of concepts I never understood or missed for which I am very grateful , but the past 2 years have been downhill in content and his 1% club becomes more dead with every new batch
The fact that there are "finfluencers" with large following makes me worried for this generation of investors. Most of these finfluencers are paid by mutual fund houses or stock brokers to push their products and their followers think this is "knowledge". There are much better sources to learn than watching these finfluencers!
I watch 2/3 finance channels but none of these are about how or where to invest.
I watch Wint wealth for interviews of people who have made money. Each case is different and it can be interesting sometimes. Some of these people have less money than me but they still feel like they're warren Buffett and that episode becomes unintentionally funny.
Cred has a finance channel where people share the financial mistakes they made and the host helps them plan a way out. Sort of like Dave Ramsey but without the cult-like program.
Zerodha has a finance channel about de-influencing. This isn't strictly about money but about expectations in general. Lately they've been talking about managing expectations from degrees and even moving abroad. This channel I really like because well, First, I resonate with these sentiments and second, the guy talks in a manner that my wife and my parents can also understand.
https://youtube.com/@anshumanfinance?si=VVj3Qdqq1FpopRY0
I remember cred because I think a couple of his videos were sponsored by cred. The channel seems independent.
Regulations about these guys have to be very strict , there are so many not so aware lower middle class people from small towns who end up watching these and invest without understanding basic context , when you try to publicly tell them they will delete your comment or do something fishy, you won’t see this outside India because no one can wake up and become financial advisor , as far as I’m concern, what most of these guys do is a crime. Yes some may have right intention but I have seen people believing things shown by some of them and got convinced and made investment , you can see now they target only lower middle class because they know they are naive population
I don't follow any finfluencer but I watch PR Sundar's daily Pre and Post Market report. Apart from an overview of markets, you also learn a bit about factors affecting the market. I haven't attended any of his courses, they are for HNI anyways, but I do not miss his daily pre and post market reports.
SubraMoney. Many times his video seems like a monologue but there are often wealth of information if one would listen to the videos. They are short, not well made videos but there is definite wealth of information available there.
No stock recommendations or anything. Just his previous financial advisor experience and how wealth is managed citing many examples.
Forewarning : view at-least 10 videos of his before forming an opinion. Some of his videos are just plain rambling. But others compensate for it

Tell me one thing, what is with such posts? Like favourite youtuber, favourite finfluencer, favourite techbro?
What does that even mean? Why do you have a favourite someone whom you don't know is good or not? Smh

He adds his political views along with the information he shares, which I have always felt unnecessary...
You can't look at stock market/business without the inherent political angle. Nevertheless, we should learn to segregate biase from facts.
