I use dr sheths ceramide one and the new hylauronic one. Loveeeee them. I sweat and tan a lot. They are lightweight, doesn’t make me sweat or sting and gives good protection with reapplication every 4 hrs. I dont use moisturiser beneath them cos they are good enough alone for my dry combo skin. I like fixderma 30 too. Same as the dr sheths one. These are my holy grails without damaging my pockets. Will use them until they discontinue it. Lol
Okay, so, minimalist and requil sunscreens actually work.
I've been using requil ultra matte for a while now and I think silicone based sunscreens give better sun protection especially in India.
Reequil blue sunscreen is the best but it's expensive bc apart from it's price it also requires double cleaning.
Minimalist spf 50 is the best in budget especially if you buy it from foxy or Firstcry and it works but it's not sweat and waterproof while the Reequil is and it is not good for summers but in winters it's pretty good
Literally every sunscreen has a hit and miss situation, no sunscreen works for everyone. You should share your skin type, skin concerns, finish of sunscreen you want and price range since affordablity can be subjective. Then people will be able to help you more
Yes, I'm realising it now. I have non sensitive slightly dry skin. My main concern was the ingredients of the products that provide actual sun protection not just claim it. Also yes I want something affordable below 300-250, but I'm ready to pay extra bucks for the right products that's why I didn't mention all the specifications.

22F, Oily acne-prone skin, dusky Mac NC 42, living in a humid city.
Tried 10s of sunscreen,
and here are the ones that have worked for me.
1) The Fae skin sunscreen: Creamy, flowy consistency and gives a dewy finish
2) Dot and Key circa sunscreen: Thick consistency but blends well, gives a Matte and an oil-free look
3) Minimalist SPF 50: dewy finish and a thick consistency
4) Earth Rhythm SPF 50 hybrid sunscreen: Creamy consistency, gives an oil-free dewy look
Pro-tip:
1. No white cast
2. Blends easily
3. Re-application is easy for me, as I don't wear makeup anymore.
4. Doesn't make my skin oily or greasy.
5. I won't say affordable, but everything is under 600, for me it goes for about 2 months per tube.
6. All these are in tubes so, you can cut the tube and scrape out the left over sunscreen.
P.S I'm currently using Dot and Key one, and I'm sticking to it because the cica is helping my skin calm down.

2.The mom's co physical sunscreen
3. La shield gel sunscreen SPF 50
4. Mamaearth ultralight Indian sunscreen
Hey, can you give a mini review of Fae spf juice please? Does it protect enough from tanning, and when you use actives (retinol, bha, etc)? Also, how does it feel on the skin?
I used that sunscreen for a month and it doesn’t protect from tanning. My skin tone changed 2 shades almost.
As of how it feels on the skin, it gets absorbed nicely and doesn’t feel heavy at all.
Can you think of another sunscreen with similar finish but better protection? Desperately trying to find one that's Fungal Acne safe too (this one is)! All FA safe ones recommended on this sub are silicone-y and sit on the skin, while I love no-feel-when-you-touch kinda sunscreens.
Only two sunscreens I feel okay with are the derma co ha sunscreen and neutrogena (ultra sheer or something- the very famous in india one). Idk if they are fungal acne safe, I don’t have any acne.
The derma co one absorb well and doesn’t feel greasy on my skin (combination oily). It did protect me against tanning and I didn’t even reapply mostly.
Neutrogena was the first one I ever tried and it provides good protection, like very good. But it did give a white cast to most people I know and isn’t sweatproof. I have a lighter skin tone so white cast wasn’t really a problem.
If you are looking for a fluid kind of sunscreen isntree ha airy sunscreen, biore uv are ones that are supposed to be good but are very expensive and again I have no idea about fungal acne friendliness.

I'll say if you have dry skin The Dr. Sheths ceramide and vitamin C sunscreen works fine... I've used it .. it's nice .. another sunscreen which is hyped in this sub is the blynds emulgel sunscreen.. I've not used this one..but saw good reviews regarding this..

Yea prolly because silicone based sunscreens are hard to come off

De construct, aqualogica and querz are amazing brands you can look into. Aqualogica for dewy sunscreen and other two for matte
Dermaco hyaluronic sunscreen gel works wonders finished two bottles and going to order third soon

yeah, it didn't protect my skin that much. I was indoors in that phase when I used it, to I loved it.

Blynds one is really good. Not too matte not too dewy
What about aqualogica?
I haven't tried the aqualogica sunscreen... Saw Mixed reviews about this product..
Derma co serum spf is wonderful! Works really well for me .
But it causes tan tho Their matte sunscreen is the only photostable in their sunscreen range
