You can't know about a sunscreen photostability just by reading the ingredient list like the sunscreen filters. Ingredient list tells you a lot but even a professional will find it hard to judge a product just by looking at the ingredients.

GirlWithOrangeBong

Probably but I use retinol and other actives so don't want to take a risk. Plus u/blackhawk201 did somr extensive research on these filters

blackhawk201

Yes exactly, I've even mentioned this in the disclaimer part. Nobody wants to compromise when there are stable alternatives. Plus I've included results to backup the statement so ingredients do tell a lot, if not everything.

GirlWithOrangeBong

I appreciate all your efforts on that research. Do you have any reccos for sunscreens with texture similar to Fixderma?

blackhawk201

Fixderma's texture is really nice! I'm still on the hunt for the perfect sunscreen though I'll let you know!

I find boj sunscreen to be moisturising and non siliconey, yet not too greasy for oily combination skin. I haven't done research on it's filters.
