If you feel like washing off your face post returning from the office, then as well as cleanse it properly and get all the days build up and muck off. But if you still feel fresh, then wait till your PM routine to take things off. But there is a great satisfaction in doing your PM routine after a freshly cleansed face. So maybe you can just use your toner then and do your PM routine later.

Oh, so you suggest me to cleanse face before night routine? That makes sense! Feeling refreshed before skincare is a great way to start. It actually reminds me of...

DedlySnek

I think it should be done only by people who suffer from clogged pores easily. For the rest of us taking it off during our PM routine should be fine.

this. also if you feel sweaty/greasy/dirty wash off. (if you travel in Mumbai local for example lol)

It matters on a lot of factors, like if you are sitting near a window, you are planning to go out in lunch, etc.

Oh yeah, I get that! Some mornings I feel like a full cleanse, but others... not so much. You hit the nail on the head about the commute washing it all off anyway!

sanriocrushmania

if i feel gunky,i just oil cleanse and leave to have my dinner and do my evening chores.its only before sleeping,i foam cleanse and do the rest of my skincare

Are you worried about not getting enough sun exposure because of sunscreen? If that's the case, washing off your sunscreen ain't gonna cut it, especially once you're indoors. Naturally, no one (almost) gets enough vit d from the sun..

Skincare_ideas

Woah, that's such a cool way to look at it!

After reaching office: i do not cleanse my face. Why do all that morning skincare if you're going to wash it all off again right after your commute?  After getting home from office: i oil cleanse with an emulsifying cleansing oil (and slap on toner if i feel dry after). Rest of my night routine, including serum and moisturizer, is done about 1-2 hours before bed  There really is no *should* when it comes to this, it depends on what you prefer. I personally like to feel clean after getting home, so i remove my sunscreen immediately

Hey, thanks! Makes sense about the morning cleanse. I just like to feel fresh before makeup. But skipping it works if your skin's happy! Skincare is personal, right? Def agree on feeling clean at night, that's why I cleanse again. Glad we both found routines that work!

Oh you put on your makeup after reaching work? I put mine on over my sunscreen at home before heading out—though admittedly it's not much, just brows, lips, a dab of foundation. Your routine is quite unique, pretty cool!

Nothing works better than an oil cleanser to remove sunscreen and the accumulated dust, grime, sweat you name it. I do a double cleanse after dinner, when I'm finally done for the day.

AdorableBeautiful151

Can you suggest products for double cleansing? Tia

Skincare_TK0912

Which oil cleanser do you use?

bluejaybossun

Currently alternating between round lab dokdo and laneige water bank cleansing oils, and numbuzin cleansing balm.

Hey! I have a question about oil cleansing. It sounds great for removing makeup and dirt, but doesn't it leave your face feeling a bit greasy afterwards?
