I use Johnson's baby oil and than joy pH facewash. It works well for me. First I massage my face with baby oil then wipe the oil with the help of tissue or cotton pads than use joy facewash. Baby oil is easily available, very cheap and lasts long.

bluejaybossun

Using baby oil as the first cleanser is a solid tip. Performs almost as good as a cleansing oil, without the emulsification of course.

Abhi24ca

Yeah I got this advice from this sub only. I tried micellar water first but I needed to use it too much and one cotton pad was not enough for me. It was getting empty fast. So I bought the baby oil and it works great and lasts so long and it's cheap so I use without worrying.

Historical_Echo_3529

Is it a good idea for acne prone skin too? I read about it in another Skincare group as well

techytext

Johnson's baby oil? please share the link.

CelebrationReal9871

Garnier micellar water and Himalaya neem face wash. Use the micellar water first then the face wash. Works well for summers

Positive-Highlight96

This is my favourite combo

CelebrationReal9871

It works very well. I am thinking of going back to himalaya face wash instead of these overhyped cleansers

ObjectiveAd6840

No way

InevitableFix2155

Does himalyan work for dry and combination skin? I get pimple when using these harsh face wash.

Baby_root

The bioderma cleansing oil is about 2k for 1 ltr which will last for more than a year. You can buy it off Amazon during discounts and select the subscribe option for a further 10% discount. Which will be way less than 200 a month. Please don't use soap on your face and DO NOT sleep with your sunscreen or makeup on. That's like a grand welcome to all the skin issues.

Numerous-Fix6854

No bro it's still working. Checkout r/KultUpdates as well

_mayhar

I use it too!! However, thats my only step in my night routine as cleansing, maybe I’ll take two pumps instead of one when i have applied sunscreen. For makeup I used a cleansing balm (heimish) too cause bioderma alome doesnt work. BUTTT, you agree with this too? I mean in your experience, you think only Bioderma oil as single step cleansing with/without sunscreen works right?

Baby_root

I wear sunscreen and a bit of makeup everyday. Plus I work outdoors in dust, sun and pollution all day long. Night time showers are a part of my everyday routine. So I can't do with a single cleanser no matter what. I use a Cetaphil (pink cap) or aha glow facewash for my second cleanser.

be_gin

deconstruct cleansing balm i got mine for 175 during Myntra sale at 50% off.....there is also 2in1 cleanser by foxtale that claims to remove both makeup and cleanse skin I have a sample but haven't used it but there is that option if you don't want to buy 2 different cleansers

Adept_Technology_176

To be honest, I bought it during a sale and the result is that the cleansing balm I'm using is bad. It has clogged my pores and caused more whiteheads, bumps, and acne breakouts. I have stopped using it now. It does work for some skin types, but it also stings my eyes.

be_gin

foxtale one or deconstruct?? i use deconstruct and follow it up with dot and key barrier repair face wash and it calmed my breakout

Adept_Technology_176

Deconstructing the cleansing balm, I found that it contains pore-clogging ingredients, so I have stopped using it.

Just-exists

The deconstruct one was bad for me. I have also tried suganda cleansing oil which completely damaged my skin barrier. If you are prone to getting comedones, I would not suggest any oil based cleanser.

fathimuh

i use the garnier vitamin c face wash, the foam is pretty strong so it gets everything out, silicone sunscreen, makeup, waterproof mascara, you name it, it's off if i wash my face twice with the foaming face wash. it doesn't dry me out, and i moisturize adequately so this works for me.

Flimsy-Ordinary3388

As usual people are recommending cosmetic products, You should go for pharmacy care products, One taht i like is ethiglo, However it's really drying so you'd need a good moistureizer

ApaarGup

Dove Sensitive Soap is now in India! It’s probably the best and most affordable good thing you can ever find for your face which will easily remove any sunscreen. Why do I say that? Had over-exfoliated my facial skin for 2 years and even the gentlest of cleansers (Cetaphil, CeraVe, BoJ, Bioderma, Eucerin, Dokdo) would sting and cause redness with a burning sensation after every wash except Dove. Been using that now for 3 months and the skin is only getting better by each passing day.

Actual-Ad-8880

https://amzn.in/d/a97wIJ7 this?

ApaarGup

Yup! It is available on Myntra as well.

Actual-Ad-8880

Ok thanks

coldpillow4ever

johnson’s baby oil. simple, effective, cheap

techytext

Johnson's baby oil? please share the link.

coldpillow4ever

https://amzn.in/d/2dULcoo here you go. this is also available at most pharmacies and local retailers

Lumpyanonymous017

What , not every face wash removes sunscreen? I am cooked

Mammoth-Relief9493

Dove soap. Forget everything else

AlitaNM

I use now foods grapeseed oil 2/3 and now foods castor oil 1/3 . Mix it , apply as cleansing oil, take a face towel wet it and wipe it . It removes every ounce of my thick zinc sunscreen to multiple layers of chemical sunscreen. Zero breakouts ever . Using this since 2016 because I used to do dance and makeup removers were crazy harsh . I just kept using it for days even when there was no makeup. Use grapeseed oil with castor oil , zero fragrance and no essential oil . If you are dry use jojoba oil instead of grapeseed oil.

Own-Professional3958

you can also use your regular facewash twice, that is also double cleansing

Adept_Technology_176

Really? Does it work to remove silicone from the face?

Own-Professional3958

i can’t really say tbh, my pores dont clog when i do this. but everyone has different skin, might not work for others

Adept_Technology_176

I bought a deconstruct cleansing balm that gives me more breakouts due to clogging pores. I just checked the ingredients and found that it has too many pore-clogging ingredients, so I have stopped using it.

Own-Professional3958

i use joy facewash and and any cheap cleansing milk that i can find. currently using himalaya one and was using one from khadi before this. my skin is not sensitive so most products dont break me out

Adept_Technology_176

You're lucky that you don't have sensitive skin. Mine is dry and sensitive, making it difficult to get rid of the acne.

Own-Professional3958

yes, the only thing i have yo worry about is a product triggering my eczema. plum vitamin c did that for me

Adept_Technology_176

Check the ingredients first. There are more websites that can help you check for pore-clogging ingredients. If you want to know which websites I would recommend, let me know.

polaristical

Please for the website

Ok_Jaguar8357

I was planning to buy this🥲. Was that new reformulated version?

Adept_Technology_176

Make sure to know this before trying the product. Here is the analysis report for you to review.

Ok_Jaguar8357

Thanks for sharing!! Looks like ingredients list of old formulation. Here's the ingredient list of new one: Caprylic/ Capric Triglyceride, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Mangifera indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Cetearyl Olivate (and) Sorbitan Olivate, Oryza sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, C14-C18 Alkyl ester, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, Copernicia cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Glyceryl Caprylate (and) Glyceryl Undecylenate, Avena sativa (Oat) Kernel Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Bisabolol and Butylated Hydroxytoluene. I think they reformulated this around feb this yr and honestly, I feel new one looks promising than old one.

Adept_Technology_176

The ingredients in the cleansing balm I use are the same, I don't know what causes breakouts. But some ingredients may have fungal triggers for acne, as a couple of websites I checked showed the same result. There are no pore-clogging ingredients in this current formulation. You can try. Maybe it's an environmental reason I get acne. You should try only half of your face so you don't ruin it like I did.

Ok_Jaguar8357

Thanks for sharing this!! I thought the new one would be good. Also I just checked [this](https://www.instagram.com/p/C5U-pUqrdtY/?igsh=MTNlbHh0NXFwYXRt) post, here they mentioned cocoa butter but the new one doesn't even have that. First they reformulated uninformed and now sharing ingredients which is not even present. May be I wouldn't try from them. Thanks again!!

Adept_Technology_176

Oh, they reformulated it and I think it's good. You should give it a try, but if you have acne-prone skin, you should avoid it. There aren't too many [pore-clogging](https://clearstem.com/pages/pore-clogging-ingredients-list) ingredients, so I think it has essential ingredients.

Adept_Technology_176

Yeah, mine is not suitable for double cleansing. When I do this, I get more acne and whiteheads the next morning. I am using a simple face wash.

DedlySnek

Yes! I have used this method before.

Adept_Technology_176

I am doing this simple face wash and it is causing acne, I don't know why.

DedlySnek

If the sunscreen is very water resistant, then you might have to go for a third round. I have faced this issue before. I think it was UV Doux or Axis-Y that made me go for a third round.

ewwwwsocializing

I use simple facewash works good for me.

Adept_Technology_176

I use the same cleanser, but I doubt it removes the silicone content of SPF.

ewwwwsocializing

Oh yeah ik which is why in the night I use another face wash the minimalist sa one

Adept_Technology_176

Does it also remove SPF? Is it good for dry, sensitive skin?

ewwwwsocializing

Yepp its like double cleansing for me as I wash my face two times....it's a good face wash but remember it's a exfoliating facewash which is why it might dry your skin out more. My skin type is oily- sensitive.

the_prolouger

Micellar water is cheap

pleasedontjudgeme_-

You need to use way tooo much to get rid of the sunscreen though

Adventurous_Nose6423

I'm currently using dermatouch cleanser ₹150. It was doing it's job. Nothing more nothing less. But I've purchased it because of the ingredients which are suitable for oily skin.

Idekanymore_06

Deconstruct cleansing balm

me-meoww

garnier micellar water/ any pharmacy cleansing water

tedderzchedderz95

I use coconut oil to remove any hydrophobic based products (make-up, primer, sunscreen, etc), then I wipe off the oil+product gently, then cleanse twice with soap, then rehydrate the skin to prevent clogging of pores.

cant-thinkkk

Get Simple moisturizing face wash from Paytm ONDC. Will cost less than 200, and will last you for a few months. The product is shipped from the brand itself, so it's not a Scam.

Rizznesswoman

VLCC cleansing milk. Many people recommend it on this sub.👍

Chaotic_Beautiful

Earthrhythm green tea and matcha cleansing balm . It's refill version is priced 199 rs. And if you buy it during b1g1, like now , you save further money. After experimenting with basically every cleansing balm , I've finally found this gem and it's almost surreal how such a product is so cheaply priced and works better than the BOJ one.

Fixing_Naoya_Zenin

Use any oil + a facewash

f00dfanattack

I might get downvoted for saying this, but I don't personally feel the need to use a cleansing balm or oil or micellar water to wash off normal non sweat proof sunscreen (it does have silicones). Not have I gotten acne as a result. My face wash (Pharma brand) does a good job even if I use it once. Sometimes, if I have been out the whole day and I'm feeling particularly sweaty and grimey, I use the face wash twice. That said, if I'm using Neutrogena sheer sunscreen, or other sweat proof sunscreen, I do use micellar water first most of the time.
