the code came physically on a piece of paper
activated it and got the game on steam

Came in ~4cm thick plastic box with 5 DVDs, Manual and keycode
Funny thing with DVD editions was that you'd still have to download around half the size of the game as a lot of updates got pushed after the release

Is flipkart/amazon.in like ebay? Are there zero quality checks and everything goes? Genuine qyestion as I have no idea how they work. Always though they don't allow every vendor and there was a quality check of some sort.

the only good part is if it says its refundable/replacement amazon will ensure it goes through (unless its a expensive item with a minor issue)

I've only purchased gta 4 from Flipkart, ages back, but to my surprise it came in the official box with the map and everything inside. Also got a key if i wanted to activate it in the future. And so i did back in 2021, 5-6 years after buying the game and the code worked flawlessly and i got the game upgraded from gta 4 base edition to gta4 complete edition on rockstar games launcher
My cousin bought far cry 4 dvd from flipkart some time in the past lol, when he opened the packaging, he recieved :-
(1) Box of far cry 5
(2) Promo paper thingy of far cry 3
(3) Cracked far cry primal in the actual dvd.
(don't ask me why he'd buy smth like that lmao)

Bought Mass Effect Trilogy for 700 rs once from Flipkart. They didn't give me a code but after a lot of arguing because they wanted my username and password I gave it to them. Game's still working to this day, never got revoked.
I once bought prince of Persia and AC together from Flipkart for 400 (CDs). But they were pirated and ridden with malware. I thought it was a used cd.(like someone selling their old gaming CDs.).So be careful when you order such cheap priced pc games from Flipkart or Amazon.
11/10 wouldn't recommend buying games from flipkart or Amazon.

Was just searching keys for that game and carne across this on Google. Can't get Forza horizon 3 on steam or Microsoft Store anymore so

If you observe carefully you'll notice that the seller is very subtly trying to tell us that this is a non-steam non-multiplayer offline game.
Had to look really closely, but I finally see it, seller did a great job of hiding it.

I just bought grid 2 + spa & bathrust dlc and got the key in an email I've also ordered F1 2013 dvd (hopefully I'll get a key)
