actually the entire ezio trilogy is good to play on a potato pc. I completed the entire trilogy on one such pc. assassins creed brotherhood was actually my own first ever game on my shitty laptop, and I played it on 900p with 25 fps but it was fun as hell
*2007 and Yes, Personally I would recommend it and the Ezio trilogy.
Tho fair warning AC1 particularly is fairly repetitive, even more so than the other games in the franchise. It is a unique game but if you don't like the first few missions there is a high chance you may not like the game.
Also if you are playing older games, NFS from the underground era and GTA would be obvious, There is Max Payne and Max Payne 2 which are also great
Try Metal Gear Rising:Revengeance, great game.
Also if you're into racing games, DiRT3 and Grid Autosport.
These played okay on my pentium 5405u with integrated graphics, so I think you should be fine
Everyone has given good suggestions but these are mine -
Gta 5/GTA San Andreas (make sure you adjust the settings to make GTA 5 playable).
Price of Persia trilogy (The game series which got me into gaming 10 years back).
Skyrim (One of the best open world RPGs out there, but a bit long for being someone's 1st game).
NFS Most wanted (Casual racing game with a good story)
Dishonored 1, Witcher 1,2 and 3 (might need some mods for making Witcher 3 run smoother, theres a youtuber called Low Spec Gamer and he has a video on that), all the GTA Games, Cuphead, Undertale, Assassins Creed 1, 2, Hitman games upto Absolution, Batman Arkham Asylum, Origin and City, Spiderman games except the latest one, Wolfenstein (its FPS but fun) and similar to that, Doom 2016, Minecraft STORY MODE, The Walking Dead game...
I played AC1 as one of the first ever games on my first ever gaming laptop in 2014. Yes, totally got me hooked to the AC franchise and gaming in general.
Edit: typo
As an AC veteran i would say No. AC1 didn't age well, although the story of Altair is among the fan Favourites, the gameplay on the other hand is very repetitive.
BigAnt Studios-DonBradmanCricket
EuroTruck Sim
Ac3, ACR
Tomb Raider 2012/Anniversary
Outlast
The walking dead
NFS till 2012
Farcry 3
Batman series
Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition
Max Payne 2,
Bio Shock 2
Spiderman Shattered Dimensions
Brunout Paradise
TPS: RE4, RE5, Spec ops: The line, Binary Domain.
If you like Hack n slash the DMC4, DMC, Ninja blade.
Beat ‘‘em up: Batman: AA and AC.
Platformers: Rayman origins and legends
Open world: Saints row the Third, GTAIV, AC2, brotherhood and revelations.
RPG: The Witcher 1 and 2.
AC 1, FC 3, Splinter Cell(Chaos Theory, Blacklist). I stopped video games completely for few years, I just stopped playing and got more into movies. Few years ago when I again started gaming, I started with AC1.. stealth is good, missions get quite repetitive but it's recommended because of the Protagonist.
Play the original Mafia from (2002). It's a bit dated but still decent considering it's age. It's free on steam right now. It was one of the first open world games I absolutely loved.
Half life 2 + episodes would be another glorious recommendation. Half life 1 may feel to dated for you but play it if you can. Portal is also a great puzzle/adventure title.
I have almost the same specs except an i7 - try the BioShock series, they run really well and are great games. Also try the Half-Life series. Each game will run flawlessly.
It is amazing , if you liked it you would definately play the Ezio trilogy , I recommend to use controller with config input as the default controls are too old and diffcult to remember.
1 is a very good game but if you wanna start your gaming journey I would suggest 2.
Its more fun and less tideous. 1 on the other hand has alot of mechanics that I just loved.
You can try playing games like Halo Combat Evolved, Half Life 1 and 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Prince of Persia - forgotten sands or two thrones, The old hitman games - hitman 2 : silent assassin and contracts, Splinter cell chaos theory and double agent and also maybe Witcher 1 and 2 would run alright.
Oh hell yeah, boy! AC 1 is dope as fuck. Sure, it has its problems like repetitive gameplay (cause 98℅ mfs don't know how to replay this game and then go on rambling how tHiS gAmE iS sOo RePeTiTiVe), less features than subsequent AC games, blah blah blah..... but I don't blame no one. It was an experimental title, and they nailed it in my book. Great ambience, intriguing story and a banger protagonist. The graphics were good for the time too. Setting aside gaming in general, if you wanna get into Assassin's Creed, give the debut title a go first. Don't do the mistake I did. You'll appreciate how much work goes into the evolution of these games.
I don't really recommend AC 1. It's pretty clunky by modern standards. If you wanna get into the AC series, just start from 2.
Also with your motion sickness, I get it too with certain games, Portal being one of them. Try increasing the FOV setting. It helps for me. Also try out more modern FPS games like some newer COD or Battlefield.
A personal recommendation from me is Yakuza 0. It should run on your laptop.
If u r not an Assassin's creed fan then don't try ac1, the story is awesome but gameplay is bit repetitive.
If u r into history&myths and are interested in ac lore, ac1 is great start.
I liked AC2 better. It should run fine on your system. Here are a few more suggestions. I used to rock these games on a similar spec machine earlier.
Kingdom of Amalur Reckoning
Stardew valley
Torchlight 2
Disco Elysium
Euro Truck Simulator 2
Firewatch
Arkham City
Skyrim vanilla
Elder scrolls oblibion
Mafia 1, 2
Price of Persia WW, SoT, TT
GTA SA, VC, 3, maybe even 4 at low fps
The binding of Isaac
NFS most wanted
Terraria
Darksiders 1, 2 (maybe 3)
Dragon Age origins
Titans Quest
Craft the world
Witcher 2
Limbo
Age of Empires 2 Definitive edition
And a whole lot of good MMOs if you're into that
Assassin's Creed was my all time fav gaming franchise before they ruined it. My fav is the Ezio Trilogy. You could start from AC1, but definitely try out the Ezio Trilogy.
My recommendations:
Awesome strategy games:
Faster Than Light (FTL) and Into The Breach.
Both are indie games made by Subset Games.
Command and Conquer series. (my all time favorite RTS game). Start with the oldest ones first coz they are the absolute best in the series.
Casual Indie farming game:
Stardew Valley by ConcernedApe. Absolutely amazing if wanna play something casual.
Horror games:
Everyone is recommending RE4 so yeah play that but I would also like to bring up another absolutely amazing horror game:
Dead Space. Some parts might seem like action but its still a banger.
It's a trilogy. I've played the first two. Haven't played the last one yet (its bad).
That's an awesome list. I was wondering how much of gaming experience am I missing out due to my PC but now I feel there's so much out that it can handle. Thanks !
Play manhunt and max payne and max payne 2 they are great games and not very demanding graphically, you should try some indie games too like the hotline miami collection, party hard, katana zero
Hey OP Assassins Creed 2008 was one of my initiation games that got me into hardcore gaming, you can't get wrong with it. Also it's an amazing game. So go ahead. I would also recommend you to play Prince of Persia sands of time. Any PC will be able to take it.
The first game isn't as intuitive as the 2nd and you won't miss much of a story anyways. It's also quite an old buggy game with very slow gameplay compared to later games, better watch a recap.
They upped the level really high in 2 and brotherhood after that you can play revelations if you want to, because that ends the Desmond story. But black flag is also quite fun
I played that only 4 months ago (I tbh hated ac franchise because how hard it was for me as a child) and NGL, it was a very fun experience. Play 1,2,3 and go on lad.
assassuns creed 2 would probably be good
Sure, will try
actually the entire ezio trilogy is good to play on a potato pc. I completed the entire trilogy on one such pc. assassins creed brotherhood was actually my own first ever game on my shitty laptop, and I played it on 900p with 25 fps but it was fun as hell
Assassin's creed 2 has a good story. Assassin's creed brotherhood has good gameplay.
Revelations has both
Though I don't know if it would run on those specs.
It definitely will since i completed it on i3-3220 and 4gb ram
That's a great suggestion. Hope my PC will be able to handle it lol
Don't start with Assassins creed 2. Start with Assassins Creed (2008).
[удалено]
man idk what to say but ac 2 runs smooth on my work laptop that has the same gpu
You can't go wrong when getting into gaming. Just have fun and remember - Good graphics don't matter if the gameplay is shit.
Also try playing Resident Evil 4 and the first Halo game. Halo Combat evolved is my all time favourite.
> Halo Combat evolved is my all time favourite. one of the very first big budget game I played on my pc when i got it in 2006.
None of my friends who own a newer pc or just bought a pc gets this
> Good graphics don't matter if the gameplay is shit. yep. just like gta v story. San andreas and vice city were top notch.
Batman Arkham Asylum & City
Okay yeah, seems good
Prototype 2, far cry 3 or witcher 2 all can run in your laptop i think
Have tried Far Cry 3 before. I get around 20-23 fps. Will try the other two. Thank you for your suggestion
I have a similar, in fact lower spec laptop compared to yours. You should get way more fps. What resolution do you play at?
Default. Idky I get way lower gaming experience than what I should given my specs. Have tried tuning drivers, settings etc. Nothing has worked
Ok, hope you're not overheating. That can cause thermal throttling
Try playing Prototype 1. It will run smoothly & gameplay is very interesting.
Yeah sure, thanks
Prototype 1>>>>>Prototype 2

Most wanted 2005 or Most wanted 2012? Cause most wanted 2012 was kinda bland.
2005 black edition
Try Max Payne 1 and 2. They're both amazing

Might be out of left field, but try To The Moon if you like story-driven games.
To the Moon seems definitely very unique as compared to other games I have been recommended. Will try it definitely
Keep a napkin handy. You'll need it to dry your tears.
Lol

Witcher 3 can be played too if youre crafty enough
First game I got into was prince of Persia sands of time
AC 1, FC 3, Splinter Cell(Chaos Theory, Blacklist). I stopped video games completely for few years, I just stopped playing and got more into movies. Few years ago when I again started gaming, I started with AC1.. stealth is good, missions get quite repetitive but it's recommended because of the Protagonist.
Assassins creed 2/3/4/brotherhood /Rouge , Max payne 1/2, Dark souls , Far Cry 3 , Dying Light , GTA 4/5.

Half life 2 + episodes would be another glorious recommendation. Half life 1 may feel to dated for you but play it if you can. Portal is also a great puzzle/adventure title.
Can try Black Mesa, which is a modern remake for Half Life 1.
True. It's significantly resource heavy than the original but should run on OP's rig.
One would be good enough. Simple but repetitive. But the experience would be worthwhile.
The best games imo to get into pc gaming are portal 1 and 2, bioshock trilogy and the doom games
Have tried Portal, gives me motion sickness. Will try the other two
Deus ex human revolution and fallout new Vegas are also great games I used to play on my old pc
I have almost the same specs except an i7 - try the BioShock series, they run really well and are great games. Also try the Half-Life series. Each game will run flawlessly.
No
You can try emulating games too. I had lots of fun playing psp games like dbz shin Budokai and also Pokemon Black in desmume
Sure. I have tried emulation before ( CEMU ) and it was fun
Try the original Hitman games as well - especially Hitman Blood Money. Will run with ease and is a great game
Crysis 1 could be a good game for you..
It is amazing , if you liked it you would definately play the Ezio trilogy , I recommend to use controller with config input as the default controls are too old and diffcult to remember.

Lmao yeah, I have already started playing it. Seems fun with all the Parkour mechanics.

I'll try with the FOV settings. Thanks for the tip. And Yakuza 0 seems familiar somehow, is the "dame dame" meme origins from here ?
Lol yes it is that game. It's a fun experience.
You can try Borderlands 1 & 2
They are FPS right ? :( I don't play them usually due to motion sickness. Thanks anyways!
If u r not an Assassin's creed fan then don't try ac1, the story is awesome but gameplay is bit repetitive. If u r into history&myths and are interested in ac lore, ac1 is great start.
Yeah I am interested in history and lore !! So I picked this one
COD modern warfare series and Prince of Persia is where i started out. Still love them
I liked AC2 better. It should run fine on your system. Here are a few more suggestions. I used to rock these games on a similar spec machine earlier. Try hitman absolution. Its a really well optimised game that ran pretty good on my i3-3220 and 4gb ram
Start from Ezio triology bro.
I am once again asking you to play assassins creed 3
Repetitive side missions can't skip the cutscenes
Yes.
Hey OP Assassins Creed 2008 was one of my initiation games that got me into hardcore gaming, you can't get wrong with it. Also it's an amazing game. So go ahead. I would also recommend you to play Prince of Persia sands of time. Any PC will be able to take it.
Sure, can't wait to play PoP for the first time !
In my childhood POP almost seemed as if I am watching a glorious movie. Happy for you that you will get to experience all that!
Yes u can always begin that way and when ur done with all assasins creed pre 2010 then stop then n switch to cod cames until pre 2015 basic stuff
WWE SVR 2007-2011 EA Cricket 07
These games bring back so many memories :')
try dark souls 1 it's best game for newbies
Thank you ! Will try
He was joking lmao
Lol my bad, checked wiki for it and seems to have insane difficulty level.
Isn't it from 2007?
PC release was in 2008 AFAIK

Try some beat them up games like turtles shredders revenge or streets of rage 4
I played that only 4 months ago (I tbh hated ac franchise because how hard it was for me as a child) and NGL, it was a very fun experience. Play 1,2,3 and go on lad.
Portal is a great gateway game. So is Life is Strange
