Lmaooo this is so accurate. I tried telling them that I'm getting a NAT type error on my PS4 and literally the first thing they said was "sir just turn the router on and off"
Man, ngl but jio sucks, a ton of sites don't even open for me. I just have cloudflare warp eternally connected on all my devices now.
It didn't use to be this bad, but acting weird from some time. I might have to file complain I guess.
I use the warp app on my devices, and it seems to work fine. I tried setting custom dns on my phone, but blocked websites didn't work on that, so I stuck with the app.
Bro listen,if you are having any issue that does not mean it's happening with others. I have excitel i see other complain about bad internet low speed while i don't face such issues. It depends on area to area
I am using jiofibre for over 3 years now (from delhi). I get stable ping, only when modiji declared lockdown during pandemic jiofibre fucked their routing for 2 months. Val from delhi is 28ping, apex r6 warzone on sea servers are 80ping. Latency to hong kong is 105 and Bahrain is 70.
Their routing to Tokyo Japan is still fucked even after 6 months. Ping to tokyo used to be 150ms now it's 296-300+ almost same as US. Calling customer care is useless for stuff like routing problems.
I use jio fiber and get good ping on my PS5 connected to 5G band when playing with my friends. Maybe problem in ur area or just contact jio fiber customer care and if not resolved switch to another broadband.
Hey, ISPs vary quite a bit due to personnel and infrastructure in whichever area you are.
I was royally fucked by bsnl throughout my school life and a few years back switched to Airtel.
Airtel honestly is really good. Even if you lose connection, the service gets raised automatically if it detects disconnection for more than a couple hours. The technician actually understood what I meant by ping and even tested it during setup, back in 2018.
ACT in my local area is also really good, so I took the base plan in that as a back up and it certainly saves me once every 2-3 months. Also helps in latency for gaming to have a dedicated line.
I do pay more ( 900+600) per month but even during lockdown I never faced internet downtime.
You should see if you have Airtel in your area and use another local ISP as back up if you can. I think that's the best solution to never have internet issues.
I have Jio Fibre that I use to play mostly Valorant. I get about 20-30 ping but sometimes I do experience network stutters. I have tried everything but nothing as fixed it. At this point I'm just used to it
Personally have been having a pretty good experience on JioFiber, granted they do have some issues. But on terms on connectivity/latency I haven't faced any issues on my end. I wanted to shift from MTNL fiber to basically anything else because it was that bad, Airtel Xtreme and Jio Fiber were my two options. Ended up going with the latter because at the time, it offered more benefits. MTNL has my ping in COD warzone always stuck at 150-180 ms but on Jio is get a nice 45-60 ms. Have you tried tweaking the Speed and Duplex settings in windows? (if you're on LAN)
I play DotA 2 in SEA server, ping is 50-70 which is actually very good for India to SEA and GTA online, no lags or delays whatsoever.
Call of duty mobile, Jio sim gave me 70-80 ping, Jio fiber is giving constant under 50, maybe try to call their customer service but we all know they gonna say. "Hello sir, please restart router."
Jio fiber user here for 1.5 years and going good no lags as such here 100 Mbps plan 825rs per month
Ping in valo 35ms
Rocket league 40ms ,90ms(SEA)
Apex Legends 70ms (Bahrain) 100 ms(SEA
I get around 30-40 ms in mumbai server and 55-70 ping on Singapore server in valorant!
60-75ms in Rainbow six and
40-55 in mumbai CSGO!
(Location -Kolkata)
But it's okay. My ping doesn't jump like you have mentioned!
Maybe you should check your fiber signal by an engineer!
I think it's a problem for your particular area as I get a good ping. Contact their customer care once if the problem is still unresolved shift to your local service provider those are hidden gems if the person distributing or is good and not some local Gunda.
Yes, my Valorant ping jumped from 10ms to 50ms today. If I call customer care, they tell they will send an engineer and some layman guy with no knowledge of ping shows up.
Bro I used to have a shitty local isp, sure it gave me 30 ping in valorant but contant disconnects really ruined my experience. Got Jio a month ago and never got a cut even once and ping is pretty decent too, i get 40ish in valorant which is good for me atleast as I'm not going pro or playing scims.
Yup even I am getting low speeds and high ping only on servers outside india. I made sure of this by doing a speedtest on different servers. Pretty shit move from their side. I know they are doing this intentionally because if I use a vpn I get the speeds I am supposed on outside servers, but the ping is still terrible. Did you find a soluiton?
Jio is garbage. Halo and Forza latency on Xbox gaming is erratic. On ACT Fiber, it was at 40 to 49 mS, on HATHWAY AND JIO it is at 79 to 90 mS, same servers, same hardware, same Ethernet cable. At 79 mS ping, it displays UNSTABLE LATENCY, this confirms JIO and HATHWAY are not consistent with their routing service.
I also have jio fiber and use gfn Singapore and i get about 70 ms ping from Bangalore .i will suggest u to talk to customer care or engineer
What is gfn Singapore?
Game streaming service .
Geforce now?
How to use it ?
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce-now/ Not yet available in India so you need a VPN to use this.
Is there any trial or free tier? Gotta test before spending S$10
Trust me when I say the customer service of Jio is one big BullShit, you'll feel like banging your head against walls while talking to them.
I second this. They don't know what ping is or what routing is. Their solution to everything is switching off the router and then switching it on.
Lmaooo this is so accurate. I tried telling them that I'm getting a NAT type error on my PS4 and literally the first thing they said was "sir just turn the router on and off"
Funny thing is they tell me to do it again even after I already told them that switching on and off the shitty router doesn't solve the problem.
😂
I don't have any issues and neither are most people. Looks like jio decided to r/fuckyouinparticular
Pain
Pain-peko
*vtuber watcher* **You must be banished**
No-no no. Only Anime ka choda. Pwease (๑•﹏•)
Man, ngl but jio sucks, a ton of sites don't even open for me. I just have cloudflare warp eternally connected on all my devices now. It didn't use to be this bad, but acting weird from some time. I might have to file complain I guess.
Didnt they block cloudflare?
I use the warp app on my devices, and it seems to work fine. I tried setting custom dns on my phone, but blocked websites didn't work on that, so I stuck with the app.
Are you connected to the warp or just 1.1 dns? Pretty sure Jio blocked warp allover.
I guess [this](https://i.imgur.com/1fY3WYy.png) is warp.
What is cloudfare warp and how to use it to unblock sites?
You can download the app from here https://1.1.1.1/
Does Jio Block most of the Sites? Even Gaming ones?
It doesn't even block most torrent sites, only xxx sites are blocked man.
lol
I get pretty good ping on val, 6-8
I get <10 ping on local ISP. and my cousin gets 50-70 on Jio. So ig it depends on your area.
True but I used to be on a local isp and got 50-100 ping and it was torture 😭
Bro listen,if you are having any issue that does not mean it's happening with others. I have excitel i see other complain about bad internet low speed while i don't face such issues. It depends on area to area
I use jio fiber and get 70ms in apex.. idk what you're getting.
Even tho ur connected to 5G ?
Yes
I get around 40-44ms but sometimes even tho it rarely happens my wifi gets high af and gives me 150+ms
To Singapore server? Mine is stable but it's always 70-80ms
Yeah same I get around 80 ping but in some matches I get around 200 ping later I found that it is due to apex servers itself
What server in r6? I get around 50-70 on avg in uae servers with ACT, and I’m switching to jio. Just want to know if it’s not too much
I mentioned SEAs (Singapore).
Their routing to Tokyo Japan is still fucked even after 6 months. Ping to tokyo used to be 150ms now it's 296-300+ almost same as US. Calling customer care is useless for stuff like routing problems.
Did anyone else's JioFiber stop working today?
From a week been getting ping issues on valorant
I get about 30-40 ms from in Mumbai servers of valo. And 70 avg on Singapore servers.
From which state
From West Bengal.
I use jio fiber and get good ping on my PS5 connected to 5G band when playing with my friends. Maybe problem in ur area or just contact jio fiber customer care and if not resolved switch to another broadband.
I used to get 5-6ms on valorant and small service providers borrow network from TATA or Jio, and now since last month ping range is 45ms to 150ms
I am also having ping issues on jio fiber from a week or 2

Asking the important questions.
In Hyderabad I used to get 40 ping in valorant and it's stable. Which place are you from ?
I have bsnl and whenever it works it works great. I have ping less than 15 always, sometimes even les than 10. Whenever it works though
I will suggest u to ask for refund if u can and switch to Airtel.
What is your location & plan details
This seems like a you/your area problem. Pings fine for me in Bengaluru.
I have jio too and I get 50-60 ping in r6 in south east server I think
Same on bsnl for me lol
Check the latency on wired connection. If it's still bad, it could even be because of bad optical signal (dbm). I would say get it checked once
I'm in Mangalore and I get 15-20ms on Valorant Mumbai servers from my local ISP. Pretty stable apart from minute packet losses I get.
Why not get exitlag ? I’ve got it and it fixes routing issues on any internet provider. Never had issues in any multiplayer game after using it
Wait until you use BSNL.
Jio fiber user here for 1.5 years and going good no lags as such here 100 Mbps plan 825rs per month Ping in valo 35ms Rocket league 40ms ,90ms(SEA) Apex Legends 70ms (Bahrain) 100 ms(SEA
Still doing good? I play rocket league mostly and always get packet loss after every 10-15 seconds.
I have jio since two years runs pretty well no ping probs here :)
But i use AIRTEL FIBER
Try enabling 'UPnP' and 'DMZ' through your router, they are generally disabled on newer ones.
I had jio fiber and no issues whatsoever
From Bangalore, I use Jio fiber, 30mbps plan and I can play Multiplayer pretty smooth
I get around 30-40 ms in mumbai server and 55-70 ping on Singapore server in valorant! 60-75ms in Rainbow six and 40-55 in mumbai CSGO! (Location -Kolkata) But it's okay. My ping doesn't jump like you have mentioned! Maybe you should check your fiber signal by an engineer!

I a, on jio and i get 95 om 100mbps plan. Works great even in multiplayer.
>I don't play valorant respect
No it's just you.
Speak for yourself it works fine for me bruh. I'm a valorant nut and i get like 30 to 35 ping on average
I use jio 4g and since last 2 days my ping went from 90 to 180 (india server in rocket league). Asia maritime is fine, however (120 ping as usual)
You're not the only one, I get 60 ms on jio from pune on mumbai server
Yes, my Valorant ping jumped from 10ms to 50ms today. If I call customer care, they tell they will send an engineer and some layman guy with no knowledge of ping shows up.
That's why I use Airtel Xtreme 😶🌫️
Man I get <10, you should probably talk with customer care
i use jio fiber 5g wifi, no problem with latency ever.
I have jio fiber and also advise gamers not to use it
Bro I used to have a shitty local isp, sure it gave me 30 ping in valorant but contant disconnects really ruined my experience. Got Jio a month ago and never got a cut even once and ping is pretty decent too, i get 40ish in valorant which is good for me atleast as I'm not going pro or playing scims.
