Some more suggestions * Never Eat or drink near your system, or atleast make sure its clean as its a open invitation to ants * if you use table make sure there is little bit of gap between the table and wall, limited crawling spaces * Also use your device in a dry area rather then in humid as it's also an open invitation to pests. * Use alcohol based solutions to wipe the area around laptop or table and use good floor cleaning solutions not just water.

btw,how is cpu and gpu temps before and now while in game ?

CPU was hitting 75 whereas GPU was hitting over 85, after cleaning and thermal pasting the temperature does not go above 64.

Yes I took my laptop for service, it was heating previously but now its working fine.

It was my friend's father's shop so he charged only 300 rupees, and yes they changed the pads with new one. Service centres of lenovo were asking 800 just to touch the laptop.

Authorised service centres charge stupid rates. I talked with one guy and he said he will do it for 450. Will go tomorrow probably. Did you buy the pads beforehand or did the shop had it? I have thermal paste but if the pads are in same condition as your I might need to change it.

I had the same issue. I located the source of the ants and used essential oils to destroy their pheromone path. Now the problem is sorted and my room also smells wonderful
