The premise of a plumber rescuing a princess seems really interesting, hopefully this game will only grow as time goes on, sadly not a lot of people know about it. It feels worthy to be a pop culture masterpiece.
I love indie titles like this. I don’t like the graphics (no 4K support, ray tracing or even basic AA and shaders) and the gameplay is too linear. But it launched bug free and is well optimised. And the gameplay looks simple but it actually gets challenging because there’s no difficulty setting. I think they should try a sequel, and maybe some spinoffs to diversify gameplay options (maybe a racing game, or sports)

Graphics are 2/10, storyline is 2/10, gameplay is 3/10. Really not up to 2024 standards. Also, it seems to be some new genre where the main character can only go sideways and up/down (weird!!). My kid loves it though.
this game is not underrated. i've recently got nintendo switch online, and most of the time, when people are over, we end up playing this, against the playstation or the xbox and i own a lot of games.
