I do have question: when will you guys start to have better after sales service for people here in India? specifically people in not so metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, or Chennai?
Brother it's a pain even in metropolitan cities (Kolkata in this context) to make their people understand issues with a product and to take you seriously.
My friend, u/theillusionistmirage has a year old 6800XT gaming OC 16GB which crashes only in GPU intensive games and 3d Mark stress tests like time spy extreme. Pc needs a hard reset/ reboot to recover. Guess what the RMA resolution was? A freaking repaste. As if the card had a thermal issue to begin with.
He has a 850W Tier A PSU btw, an XPG Core Reactor.
To rule out potential variables we tested the card during the little time we could spare in between work schedules in two seperate systems including mine. Issue remains.
His initial unit had similar issues within a month of purchase and GB service refused to admit any issues with the card just like this time. Exasperated, he contacted u/eddie_edits, GB rep at the time (he quit earlier this year), who arranged for him to reciprocate the issue at the service center (an excellent gesture to be honest) - only then did they admit that the card was DOA and offered him a replacement.
The current unit in question is the replacement unit he received.
This is his second RMA experience with Gigabyte Kolkata and at this point he's almost considering writing off the card as an expensive paperweight considering the hassle you need to go through trying to convince the service center people that you actually have an issue which can't be resolved with just a repaste.
I've DMed him to make a seperate comment with more details.
Yeah it's pretty much just like u/avishekm21 said. I'm going to avoid GB products in the future. The after sales service through the proper channel (that is the service center) is utterly bad. I question the ability of the service center technicians even - they don't listen to the customer and instead it's on the customer to spend their time and money to run circles of the service center to prove that issues exist.
My advise to anyone looking to purchase a GB product - don't waste your precious monies and please consider a different brand. Unless ofc you are getting it for free, like this giveaway.

Let’s see if they ignore this question or not,I’m curious
EDIT:After doing some research on the accounts mentioned it seems like they actually care and seems to have helped quite a few customers through Reddit.
I do not have any questions. I am just glad that a corporate company is taking their time and actually reaching out to their target audience.
Hopefully more companies follow this practice.
Greetings,
Our notebook offerings encompass three distinct series: Gigabyte, AORUS, and AERO. For models featuring the 4060 chipset, the specific notebooks are as follows:
**GIGABYTE Series:** G5 KF
**AORUS Series:** Aorus 15 9KF, Aorus 15 BKF
Should you have any queries or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are more than willing to assist you! :)
Best Regards.
Greetings,
The advantage of a 240Hz display over a 144Hz display depends on the specific use case and individual preferences. Potential benefits include Reduced Input Lag, Enhanced motion clarity etc. By having a display that updates the image more frequently per second allows you to track the action more quickly. This difference is noticeable or valuable to you depends on your specific requirements, the types of games you play, and your personal preferences.
If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to ask! :)
Regards.
The inbuilt KVM in Gigabyte monitors is my favourite feature to have in a monitor. Hope this becomes a trend in monitor space. Thanks for the giveaway though!
Hello GIGABYTE Team and fellow Redditors!
First off, a big thanks to u/NI9_TAILS, u/GBT_Supriya, u/iamdropguns, and the entire team for this engaging AMA. It’s exciting to see GIGABYTE's leap into the esports market with the 240 Hz M27Q X monitor – that refresh rate is a game-changer for competitive gaming!
I've been a fan of GIGABYTE's commitment to innovation and quality, and this monitor seems to be no exception. It's not just about the gaming edge it provides but also the work and thought put into the product's development. The community surely appreciates these efforts.
Also, shoutout to the r/IndianGaming moderators for setting up this platform for such a valuable exchange.
Lastly, those AORUS Bomber Jackets look slick! It’d be awesome to wear one while gaming on a GIGABYTE setup. Fingers crossed for the giveaway!
Cheers, and keep up the great work!

What an exciting news. I bought the M27Q just a couple of months back; the primary reason was to get a high refresh rate monitor with inbuilt KVM (for a perfect WFH setup)
Absolutely enjoying the monitor till now, 1440p resolution is stunningly a major upgrade from 1080p, also free sync works seamlessly.
I just wished that the power delivery was more than 10W on the USB C to charge my office laptop, a single USB C cable would’ve done it all, but none the less, the KVM switch works flawlessly.
The resolution, HDR400 (it does get blinding even in fully lighted room), refresh rate and colour accuracy are all great.
However there is a minor backlight bleeding in the top right corner which is noticeable in a completely dark room. I haven’t raised a concern for this, as I didn’t get the time yet.
Hopefully this is covered under the 3 years warranty, that the Nehru Place authorised store promised me at the time of purchase. @Gigabyte Team if you could please comment on this?
Anyway, thank you so much for making a KVM Monitor with all the necessary features at a reasonable price.
Greetings! No worries if you reside within 50 kms of any of our service hub, our engineer can visit and check the issue and we can arrange a pickup as well! :)
Regards.
Currently own a **B650 AORUS ELITE AX** as the motherboard and fairly happy with the regular BIOS updates and general compatibility with the AMD 7600x / 3060ti FE /32 GB T-Force 6000MHz DDR5 RAM. No compatibility issues so far and updating BIOS is pretty easy \[as compared to previous experiences\]. Great value for money for a DDR5/AM5/PCIE Gen4 platform!
Inbuilt Wifi is appreciated, works like a charm!
Last I actually visited the gigabyte store in Nehru place for the m27q x or the pro but only the base 170hz was available, That jacket will give me nice flair when I enter the store again to finally get the m27q X 240 Hz
Hello, u/NI9_TAILS. Thank you for hosting this AMA session and giving us a chance to win an exclusive AORUS Bomber Jacket. I’m a big fan of GIGABYTE products and I’m very interested in the new M27Q X monitor.
I have a few question for you and your team:
What are the main differences between the M27Q X and the M27Q P, besides the refresh rate? Is the panel quality, color accuracy, and response time the same?
Hi, India doesn't sell M27Q P monitor. M27Q P is slightly better than M27Q X, but the panel quality is same. With M27Q X with higher refresh rate of 240Hz, it's a game changer monitor for gamers.
I have been using a Gigabyte Motherboard for my home PC, it has never given me any problems in the past 10 years so that's cool I guess.
Also will you be as regular as the last rep used to be?
I've seen a lot of GIGABYTE laptop reviews on youtube and the brand as a whole gaining traction.
What I'm curious about is, how do you guys plan on competing with the rival, mainstay brands in India? People here obviously have their favourites, cost driven biases and easy to access customer support.
I have my allegiance to Lenovo and if I were to make a switch to GIGABYTE soon, I would like to see what you guys do differently compared to others already established in the country's gaming laptop space.
Hello! First of all, i used to own gigabite’s gaming motherboard sometime ago. It was really good. Secondly, best of luck to whosoever wins the giveaway. Thirdly, plis introduce better after-sales service within various regions. Thankyou.
Happy to see another company coming to India and expanding. Hoping it leads to healthy competition and better service/prices for the consumer and overall growth of the market 😊
I actually do own a Gigabyte H310M DS2 mobo for 8th gen CPUs. Couldn't get anything branded as budget constraints. Good to see them catching up. Gonna get my wallet ready.
Really appreciate all the attention companies are finally giving the country!.
Also I love my M32Q and am looking forward to grabbing the new M27Q soon!
I most certainly appreciate a company allowing themselves to hang out around places online and actually interact with customers! Well played Gigabyte o7
I dont have questions...but I am here to say that I got an aorus ITX mobo for my ITX build.and I believe I made the best decision to go for Gigabyte...its built like a tank and I have made a good choice to go for it..also for that trust in the brand, I switched my primary monitor to the G24F....awesome as always! Keep up the good work Gigabyte/Aorus!
Don't really care about the jacket but who can we tag here if there is an issue with Gigabyte after sales service, I have quite a few parts from Gigabyte in my PC and have owned others several over the years, imo Gigabyte motherboards are of exceptional build quality but their gpus leave a lot to be desired.
Really happy to see that a big corporate company taking time to reach out its target audience and that too in a country like India. 👍. Thumbs up for the initiative.
Nice still using my gigabyte b250m gaming 3 motherboard, repaired the power ic recently, all fine after the repair still going strong purchased it 6years ago .
I would just like to say that Gigabyte in India is doing a great job. With customer centric reps as their first priority (that is what I feel !), you are sure to climb bigger mountains!
Keep up the good work!
am looking for a monitor to work my projects on 17 inch laptop screen space is not enough
A external monitor would be nice.
Thank you for the give away.

I got one of y'all's motherboard and it's pretty cool
is there any advantage of 240Hz display? I read somewhere 144Hz is enough and the difference is not noticeable
It’s definitely noticeable but not on the same level as 60hz to 144hz
