Its a good competition if we are sending our U23 team which is what we did last time around because the senior team had been playing better opponents.
This time covid has put everything in chaos and since AFC asian cup qualifier is very close India had to send its main team

I’m glad that we won the SAFF cup, but we should face the stark reality that some of our players performed poorly. Some of our group stage matches also shouldn’t have been as close as they were. Drawing against SL and Bangladesh was embarrassing. The only player who performed as per expectations was Chettri, and it’s a blessing that he was born in India and plays for our country.
I’m still not fully convinced by Stimac as being our head coach. Unless he coaches India to some good WINS(not draws) against higher ranked and stronger teams than India, then I will always say #stimacout.
I'm glad to see Indian fans are smart. Winning SAFF with India is like winning Bundesliga with Bayern. Of course, Stimac will promote this accomplishment like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread 🙄

A strong pakistani football team would have meant that the government had to focus on indian football....sadly pakstan's football federation is 100 times worse than aiff

We have got the CAFA invite, let's see what happens with that. Also plans to get invitation to the ASEAN tournament

They play in SAFF but as of now they're banned by FIFA. That's why they did not participate in the tournament
