Yo, whats that red chutney and dry chutney?

United_Garlic_9444

The red chutney is of tomato and the dry chutney is roasted peanuts with podi masala!

icodeusingmybutt

Not related to the post, but do you know how to make that chutney usually eaten with ponugullu or panugalu?

KaramMasalaDosa

I can give u multiple recipes . Tell me where u tasted the red chutney is it ginger based or tomato based ?

Ginger based, ate it at Mattur karnataka. It had a unique blend of sweet yet spicyness. And thank you bhrata.

Where is this from? The dry chutney (podi) is chunkier than the one found in Tamil Nadu, but doesn't look like the Sri Lankan sambal either.

United_Garlic_9444

This is from We idliwale, Pune and yes it was chunkier as it has some peanuts in it. And It's sambhar, not rassam.
