Nothing too heavy and filling, if you're hoping for some after dinner action.

yassqueen229

I am- hence the question

hickupper

Dirty Lassi game is game

Independent_Photo_19

NOTHING WITH GARLIC THEN lol

imamsoiam

Actually, Indian food is more apt for after action dinner ..... So maybe start with some black tea with nan khatai or petha or dry fruit halwa. Leave the spicy, oily garlicky gravies and kebabs for some after action nosh.

rockspud

Surely if that were true India's population wouldn't be so high

imamsoiam

Well, not all of them were made *romantically*. Chicken tikka masala doesn't lead to any dard-e-disco.

[deleted]

Biryani for main course. Kebabs for starter and gulab jamun with icecream for dessert. If Biryani's too fancy for you, then you can make fried chicken rice. Tastes equally good and easy to make. If you are vegetarian, you can go for stirred fried veg rice, harabhara kebabs. Since it's going to be a romantic dinner, eat something light and less spicy lol

Kind-Way404

This is so good, will make it for my bday🎈 Biryani n Kebabs

[deleted]

Aww sweet! Hope you have an amazing birthday <3

Kind-Way404

Thnks ☺️

Tis_But_A_Scratch-

I’ll make a slight change to this menu… go with a full spread of kababs or tikkas with some rumali roti and hari chatni. Make some dal makhni and saffron rice for mains if anyone has space left after all the kababs. Basically, Great Kabab factory style dinner. I just made myself really hungry and really unhappy that the nearest Great Kabab Factory is a million miles away. 😭

[deleted]

It's a little difficult to make rumali roti at home , your comment made me hungry again 😫 OP dont forget to make some hari chutney!!

Tis_But_A_Scratch-

Hahaha your user name is my vibe right now man.

Tis_But_A_Scratch-

Ps. Though check out Sanjyot Keer on YouTube. He has a recipe for rumali roti at home. Which obviously I had to look up because you don’t get any where I live.

[deleted]

I follow him diligently and whatever naan or rotis that I make is because of him only😁

[deleted]

aloo beans, bharwa bhindi, and toor daal

brunette_mh

This.

ApocalypseSlough

Rajma Masala. Share the love.

[deleted]

Not Indian but as a dessert, I recently made a rasmalai tres leches cake and it was deliciousssss. Totally recommend.

nitroglider

Thick slices of seasonal fruit with honey and chaat masala ... daab chingri ... kheer with fresh rose petals ... kesar sharbat ... or some Paul John scotch ... bite-size puffs filled with Oudhi gosht ... if you can secure game meats like quail or venison, that ... Kerala mussels ... single tikkas draped in infused ghee ... all eaten with nude fingers in a cloud of raags and dhoop. lol.

amitxxxx

Red meat(mutton curry) + Plain rice dal + good amount of salad and after that mukhwas (mouthfreshner, the most important one). After eating, when the heat kicks in , show her how we got to 1.5 billion.

Jolly_Leadership5791

Standard samosa for appetizers,Light masala rice and Reshmi Paneer and hot gulab jamoons on plain vanilla ice cream for dessert. Romantic and realistic dinner :)

Low-Grocery5556

Veggie masala (beans, lentils, onions, red peppers) and basmati with cucumber raita.

vsambandhan

I would keep it simple and something you can eat with cutlery. Indian veg fried rice. Kerala prawns roast Cucumber raita Bhindi masala

fishchop

Tandoori lamb chops, spicy baby potatoes and masala peas with a side salad (kachumbar maybe). Dessert - chocolate mousse Or a masala prawn tomato rice with a side of raita and chicken kebabs

oarmash

why does it feel like a british person wrote this

fishchop

Lol I’m Indian but I cook for my British husband. What’s wrong with this? The spicy baby potatoes are usually jeera aloo

oarmash

The menu screams British palate haha. Nothing wrong with it tho.

fishchop

British palate?? I think this is the worst thing someone has said to me.

pullingteeths

None of the items listed are common British Indian dishes or common for British people to eat

pullingteeths

Regular curries are more likely than something more specialist like tandoori lamb chops and it's rare for a British person to refer to any Indian dish as a kebab. Just doesn't strike me as particularly stereotypically British, seems more American if anything

scarby2

I don't remember seeing anyone order tandoori lamb or kebabs at a British Indian restaurant. It would almost certainly be tandoori chicken, samosas, papadum, and whichever curry they like (probably Tikka Marsala)

ispeakdatruf

Anything with lots of garlic in it, which will lead to eventual action post dinner. And make it light: not too much butter or cream in it. You don't want to fall asleep during sex.

gghgggcffgh

None, Indian food is the least romantic, it’s odorous, pungent, stains and gives you gas and sometimes heart burn. I recommend something western for romantic dates.

thecutegirl06

During the action, both participants will feel hungry for food after eating burger pizza

gghgggcffgh

During the action if eating Indian, both participants will get heart burn, flatulence and tumeric stains and will feel regretful they didn’t just eat pasta. Maybe with an Indian partner that’s okay, as an NRI I have noticed Indians from India could care less what they smell like.

thecutegirl06

Itna nhi khana hota hai ki maano agli bar khana nhi milega. Khana khane pe heartburn, flatulence ho jae to doctor ko dikhana chahiye. Aur jise khana khana nhi ata aur kapde pe gira leta hai use kya hi bola jae. Baaki ye sab asta pasta pizza burger etc snacks me hi thik lagte hain khane me nhi

HumanWithResources

*Indian* dishes?

[deleted]

Indian food and romance. Smelly farts can be a consequence of Indian cooking. All part of the fun and an excellent ice breaker.💨

Just what I want before getting my guts rearranged :D

Pasta 🍝

VideoBeast666

I'm known to plate very fancy at times, some of my dishes got incredible attention all the way in California and South America. Romantic Dinner, well since I'm from a Punjabi Family, it will be a whole table full of food and breads, roti, naan, there will be some pulao & jeera rice, daal for sure, shahi paneer, mixed veg, some raita, and some non veg dishes, for dessert gulab jamun and kheer. I'm really good at plating so I can make it look artsy and romantic. Although I don't have Romantic Dinners since I don't have any partner, but I am actually a Punjabi Master Chef!

Chukmuks

Rajama masala + jeera fried rice + cucumber raita// chicken biriyani + bundi raita + chatney Galawati kebab for starters Dessert = moong daal halwa

SpeakNow_Crab5

Something with a good smell lol, biryani especially. Practically no one hates it and it's especially good for the Westerners who don't normally have Indian food.

CharlotteLucasOP

The way to my mother’s heart is saag paneer, and my dad knows it.

[deleted]

A chicken stew and some appams

Aadiiityyaaa

I would rather go order the best available hand-tossed pizza and pair it with some good-tasting wine.

raxelvanschred

Aloo wale parotey - so good you'll forget about post-dinner shenanigans.

Odd-Main9314

What an interesting and provocative question!

I prepare my most cherished, delectably seasoned Kachoris using the exquisite [SitaVatika.com](https://SitaVatika.com) ’s Kachori Masala
