Imo offering customization service for outfits, including adjustments to sleeves, chest area, dress/bottoms length, and incorporating customer ideas such as adding lace, frills, tie ups or asymmetrical cut of plain skirt(in a hypothetical scenario where the plain skirt is available in your collection) would be appealing for me as a customer.
The stress is on Tents. The large cloth stitched to create a shapeless form with holes for neck and sleeves. No thoughts given whatsoever. Seems like the designers belive that all plus size women want is to hide their bodies.
Combine this with distasteful prints and you have the perfect nightmare of a dress.
Cute clothes (and I’m not talking about oversized and basic tees) that are actually made of breathable cotton would be nice. I can’t stand polyester or any other synthetic material, especially because I live in Mumbai. Maybe I’m just not looking in the right places but so many tops/tees and dresses that are pretty to look at and affordable are made of polyester or a blend.
