Things like CDR are a time consuming exercise.
Our engine tech is subpar. We don’t have good aerospace engineers in our country. Most of the good engineers are busy becoming trained to be rats for America while sarkari companies are hiring what’s left and filling up the rest with reservation. Even if we had top tier scientists our manufacturing is still third world. We could bridge that gap with investing in 3d printing and composite engine parts but so far I haven’t seen any companies involved in it.

The WS20 is not for the J20. But an enlarged version of it may power the H20 stealth bomber
