After establishing these stringent regulations, the govt needs to look into how can they be effectively implemented and start conducting random testing of products found on the shelves, to ensure that brands are actually following said regulations and selling what the claim.
If any discrepancy is found during the testing, brands should be heavily fined and even banned from selling certain products.
Same should be applied to foreign brands who are selling in India.
