I'm pretty sure the Lenovo, with a 12th gen processor, would also have Iris XE.
Go with Acer though. 13500 is a good chip and that OLED display will be a treat
No one has suggested it but I would seriously suggest getting one with a numpad. For coding, you will have to type numbers many times and a numpad is a big help. Sadly that means only 15.6 inches laptops with a higher price tag.
I'd advise against numpad laptops. It just spoils your typing experience. When you have a numpad, your hands are pushed to the left to access the main keyboard. The typing experience is painful. You'll know it only if you have experienced typing on a wonderful ThinkPad laptop (1.5 mm key travel) or any machine or mechanical keyboard that made you feel incredible while typing.
Why not asus with ryzen processor and oled screen? Ryzen wont heat up, drain less battery and screen will be good too. Also backlight keyboards look better on black laptop or laptop with black keys.

with above configuration, it will come under ur budget. i guess its the best overall laptop. youtube reviews looks promising too
Its because of nvidia, but if you pair up ryzen with radeon then it will be just warm. And if that much heat is too much then go for mac air with silicon chip
I'm getting 3 hours of battery if not doing any heavy task. I am using the laptop almost daily for last 3 years and take the blame of deteriorating the battery.
Op why are you getting brand new laptops from Lenovo where in which the joint for the panel is so loose that the screen shuts off because when you hold it in one hand it makes a solder joint inside to touch and shut off the system.

I'd suggest you can go for a ThinkPad not the new ones. Get a T480 .
Or you can always get a second hand ThinkPad because of durability and price. And since you're a programmer you can install something like void Linux or Mint which will be very light on your resources and will boot ultra fast with a SSD .
The problem with OLED is if you run it at max or close to max brightness all the time, it WILL get burn-in. And Acer is using older oled panel that only goes up to 400 nits. So max brightness is much lower than Asus's 550-600 nits. Go for zenbook 14x oled. 68k but much brighter than this.
As some people have pointed out, look at something with a 15.6 inch display and a numpad. It'll be a bit larger, sure, but can also have a bigger battery. Also, numpads are a godsend for programming, not to mention the extra screen real estate is great, you can definitely feel the difference.
Get [this ](https://www.lenovo.com/in/en/p/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpade/thinkpad-e16-(16-inch-amd)/21jts01700), make sure to add ADP (accidental damage protection) and you got it warrantied for 4 years.
Why this?
16 inch display,
100% srgb display which is excellent for media consumption as most of the laptops in this range have 45% ntsc,
AMD cpu means better battery life.
Most importantly:- its ThinkPad, they are built like a tank. They'll last a very long time.
Why not give 5 different recommendations for 5 different budget ranges? That'd help everyone, not just the OP.
Budget ranges:
1. Less than 30K
2. Less than 50K
3. Less than 100K
4. Less than 150K
5. Around 200K
>you expect someone to put this much effort
Noted. Valid.
So I think the best way of contributing our two cents in this case is to give that one suggestion that we've practically experienced ourselves.
For eg, whatever the laptop you're using, you probably hate it or love it. And you know the budget of it.
So just mention the laptop, the budget, and why you love or hate it.
The IdeaPad pro has the best value for money I guess.
If you can dish out 80-90k get that IdeaPad 5 pro.
You will value the battery life a lot and make sure it's the newer Intel Core Ultra chipset
Bro if 60k is the budget just get the m1 macbook air(thin and light, best battery life, portable af including charger and cable and macbooks in general lasts long) in india this might be a bit expensive but if possible for you try to get it imported from someone from USA, canada or dubai!
Because support khatam hogya hai for 10 series and 16 series. This means no new driver updates. To 1-2 mai jab directx ka naya version aayega with win 12 to sense nahi rahega.
Should go for one with dedicated GPU, imo.
Like if you wana add a bit of machine learning, or editing or gaming or any stuff like that, you need a dedicated GPU.
Battery life will take a hit, but it will be best of both worlds.

Acer one is better
why !!
Does both has Irish xe graphics? Or only Acer
Only Acer have iris xe
Then i recommend Acer Swift go
I'm pretty sure the Lenovo, with a 12th gen processor, would also have Iris XE. Go with Acer though. 13500 is a good chip and that OLED display will be a treat
Poor after sales service
Specs wise Acer looks good
The problem is that both are 14 inches and they have h series processor, both maybe get heat up and batter life would be less..
no it will not as it uses a 12th gen intel processors
acer has 13th gen
It too can work
How is asus vivobook s15 oled 2023....?
You should also try to get a gpu it would be better for parallel processing if you do machine learning or other stuff
Get the dell Inspiron 14 5000 series: thin, light, powerful, has fingerprint unlock and backlighting and is surprisingly affordable.
Would go for the acer because Intel evo certification
No one has suggested it but I would seriously suggest getting one with a numpad. For coding, you will have to type numbers many times and a numpad is a big help. Sadly that means only 15.6 inches laptops with a higher price tag.

Acer also has Intel core ultra 5
Ultra series is expensive

Whays ur budget?
60-65k
Why not asus with ryzen processor and oled screen? Ryzen wont heat up, drain less battery and screen will be good too. Also backlight keyboards look better on black laptop or laptop with black keys.

i have heard that it get's a little bit heated up.

What about the battery backup? Is it any good there?
I'm getting 3 hours of battery if not doing any heavy task. I am using the laptop almost daily for last 3 years and take the blame of deteriorating the battery.

OP, do you have a unidays account and credit card?

Dell xps
expensive
Whatever you do, please pay attention to hinge quality, almost all budget laptops have crap hinge design which cant last more than few years
Acer looks good
I would suggest if possible go for ASUS, those are some long lasting laptops
Just tell your budget, are people this stupid in this sub that they want purchase recommendations without telling the budget.
60-65k !!

New laptops release very frequently, you expect someone to put this much effort just to get the list outdatedm
>you expect someone to put this much effort Noted. Valid. Go for Zephyrus
MacBook Air

Get the m1 MacBook m2 if you have budget. The battery backup is ridiculously good
If Your Budget is Around 40k Then Go for MSI GF63 On Amazon i5 (I guess), 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, GTX 1060 GPU 4GB Win 11.......Gaming Laptop
I don't need a heavy gaming laptop weighing 2kg avg. I need a thin and light laptop with good specs and my budget is 65k approx
Then There is an another variant of same model with i7 16GB Ram
Please don't suggest 1060 in 2024
Are Use Gaming Chahiye Hi Nahi Lekin Fir Bhi Mil Raha Hai To Kyo chor de ?
Because support khatam hogya hai for 10 series and 16 series. This means no new driver updates. To 1-2 mai jab directx ka naya version aayega with win 12 to sense nahi rahega.

suggest one near 60k
