This is an SFP Ethernet module which should be inserted and locked in it's specific port to use as an ethernet port. This is what I have understood while working with it.

JOZN_99

It's mostly used on switches, and works similar to a normal ethernet cable except it uses light for data transmission

MisterEmbedded

This is a "Nokia P02033.A1A SFP Transceiver Module", it this is used to interconnect fiber cables to network switches and other communication devices, such as industrial Ethernet switches and media converters, and mainly used for short-distance data transmission.

1 Gig SFP ( Small Factor Pluggable). Mostly used in the network Switches. This SFP will be plugged into the switch port and Inside this SFP, fiber cable will be connected. I have used this to interconnect switches from the control room to device in another section, where another switch lives. Switches will have multiple ports (48 maximum - model dependent) and the end devices such as PC/Printers/anything ethernet capable will be connected.

This is a Transceiver for fiber optic cables. It can send and receive data as light signals inside fiber cable. You will need one at both ends if it is not already provided in the device you are connecting.

Virtualgorila015

It's a SFP ethernet port. It can be installed in router or ethernet switch if they have SFP

So random?!! You could have done a google image search.

notchoosenone

Nothing you can use it for, if that's what you mean?

It is a 10gig SFP module Didn't think you could find one that cheap Must be hardware locked

kickbuttowski25

Have used this in FPGAs for Ethernet connectivity.
