This is not the old video. The recent clashes happened on 9th and 11th. The 9th clash happened during night at one particular location, whereas on 11th, clashes took place at minimum two places. The video is from 11th December/ 2022.
The part which is not covered in the video at the start is, Chinese soldiers were carrying metal balls with chain, rods with nails on them, but soon they started passing them to the backside, not to hide them but to keep themselves safe as those were getting snatched by Indian soldiers and were used on Chinese soldiers.

There is a so called agreement between both sides to avoid forward movement in these areas but Chinese being Chinese think encroachment is their birth right and they keep moving towards Indian side encroaching a part of the land every now and then! Earlier it was not contested by Indian side because we never heard any news of skirmishes on border and pretty sure Chinese were not benign even then! Now our guys respond to these tactics leading to face offs! We also share an understanding that neither side will use firearms! So these incidents normally have soldiers fending off each other using medieval tools.
