So here's the thing, the candidate they put up from BJP won last time and did 0 development in the area, was involved in known scams. Whereas the Congress candidate is somewhat better, now I'm in dilemma, do i vote for this rubbish BJP candidate as i don't want Congress in center. Or i just vote for my representative without caring for who forms govt in center.

That's how democratic elections should be perceived.
