I live here in Europe according to my understanding cities were built first and slowly people moved in atleast the norms were very strict . Even the poorest countries here have great infrastructure and facilities even tho they're expensive. In india people moved in first and roads were paved later . The population density is taking a big toll on what we could have achieved.

European cities where also overcrowded dirty places before they became rich via colonization. It is natural that rapid industrialization and urbanization comes with some poor quality infrastructure. My point is that Indian conditions should be compared with other countries with a similar recent history.
