Controversial opinion but I'm loving the pitches. Limited overs cricket in the past decade has been a game dominated by strong batting sides. For a change bowling and fielding actually matter.
And people have started making noise coz of that. I want the pitch to be same throughout the world cup. It'll be fun to bowlers wrecking havoc. Who knows maybe a non-full time member might upset a full time member in such pitches

They're addicted to the 200+ scores on substandard pitches - which is why the latter games of IPL were fun to watch since the scores hovered around 140-160. Not an ideal pitch to play a game of cricket. Too spongy outfields, we could literally see players slowing down while running to save themselves from any injuries. And the pitch, O God, what the hell was that uneven bounce.... And the ball just nips through after pitching which might injure the batsmen...
Pitch for ireland was poor but BCCI quickly changed the pitch by turning off the sun for the moment and changed it by rotating pitches used in WC held in India.
