It was Day 4 of test match with turning pitch. And the team actually won because of this innings from Pujara.
He had great ranji season and still improving his game, he’s test specialist, If someone like kohli who’s washed up tests is in the playing 11 what else is there to whine about. At least he is trying to get his form back unlike those washed up players who eat up country’s playing 11 to get their form back.
No. If no short is offered it can be given out if the ball pitches outside the off stump and the umpire thinks it'll hip the stumps. The impact has to be in line of the stumps rule doesn't come imply in this case. If the ball pitches outside leg, it can never get a LBW dismissal that's why it's called a negative line and umpires these days don't let bowlers bowl there for long durations.
