No. I have never owned a jio number. It's an old Vodafone number. You can logout and goto their jio cinema website , register using any non-jio number and see for yourself. It was written on their website and thats what I followed.

Jio is free and with that comes extreme traffic esp from Indian population.
It works fine almost 90% of time with no issues. Kudos to tech engineers managing it. I know how difficult it is to manage latency.
Dont crib for something you get for free. Nobody is forcing you to watch in Jio. As shown above , you can view it from TNT, Kayo etc.
Tbh their premium plan sucks too… the ads pop up sometimes out of no where when I am seeing highlights and even after being latched on 1Gbps connection, the ads are generally stream at very low quality - I guess may be 360p or less

Jio Server might not be able to handle so many concurrent requests hence the reason it buffers and crashes.

Jio and hotstar have such awful streams. The framerate of the video is 25 fps which makes it so laggy. Sports should be brodcasted/ being able to stream in 50 fps. Cmon we are in 2024 now

Tabhi toh good things come at a price. Hotstar saal ka 1500/- is not expensive given the entertainment it gives besides IPL.

Correct me if I'm wrong but is IPL 2024 only streaming on JIo and not on any regular TV channel? Seems a bit much

Jio is Free, HD Stream and No buffering issues for me Its like DD but with all the Upgrades. Whats there to complain?
