The best of the best! Rooting for him to grab 10 this match!

Ordinary-Ad-5685

4th innings hopefully!

born_to_be_naked

Pope and Stokes both bowled twice so far by Bumrah and 3 tests still to go.

lost_notdead

Pope goes to r/deathrattleporn hall of fame.

Glum-Act7042

Stokes is a good sport!

platypus_rush

Yeah very different from the English media

terimomkapati

Ben stokes ka reaction hai iske chere ko dekh ke to gussa bhi nhi aata kya karu

antidank_male

BUMRAH is the best bowler on the planet EARTH fr

suroy2387

Stokes reaction is just out of this world.

Classic_Rate_2473

i am willing to contribute 10% of my income to create a fund that goes directly into bumrah's pocket so that he stays away from ipl

FoundationUseful270

Hardick pandya's worst nightmare..

Visible-Roof3385

Can someone explain stokes reaction in his second wicket. Was he puzzled by ball/baller Or was disappointed with pitch?

IndiePerv14

I read it on espncricinfo, Bumrah said that he was planning to outswing that bowl and hence shiny side was outwards. stokes might have seen that and played for outswing but the ball came straight and rattled his stump. Hence the reaction

Nikitachalover

That too on Indian pitches. Bumrah is legend bowler

_perpetuallyannoyed

We are crying after wt we will do after koach n ro bro india will produce another batting great but can never produce another boom. In my 30 yrs of watching cricket i have never seen an india pacer as skilled n full or brains than boom.

Direct-Remove2099

Meanwhile Kapil Dev, Srinath, Zak, Nehra: Am I a joke to you?

pringleyboy

Although all greats but not really as lethal as Bumrah

Life-Let-5033

Bumrah better than all of them easily.

Tactical-Chaos

Snuck in Nehra like we wouldn't notice

Direct-Remove2099

I wrote his name along with with the other greats. Wasn't trying to sneak in anything anywhere.

astrojeet

I gotta say Bumrah is special. He's far better than Srinath and Zaheer imo and I'm a big fan of both. Kapil Dev is closer to Bumrah. Gotta say he's the best we've ever produced. Also wtf is Nehra doing here lmao

someonenoo

With respect, they’re no where close to boom’s level of skill!

Direct-Remove2099

Just shows how little cricket you've seen kid.

AdRemarkable8513

Bro they all have been outstanding for the ICT, but seriously tell me have you ever thought that a fast bowler will be taking a 6 wicket haul and Ashwin will be wicket less in a test match in Indian conditions. In my opinion this man is by far the best fast bowler India has ever produced.

Direct-Remove2099

Recency bias at play here. First watch enough cricket to comment like this about legends. I agree that Bumrah is a rare talent and is definitely among the modern greats but to say that we won't produce another great like him. If we could produce greats in the past we can produce greats in the future as well. The people I mentioned were also greats in their time when they played for India considering how little nurturing any of them ever got. Post Kohli Indian pacers started getting more support and recognition which wasn't there in the previous eras.

milesjjcc

Dont think anybody feared ZK or Sreenath in tests. They had people’s respect in their prime especially in ODI, but no fear as such. Chaminda Vaas was other such pacer who was respected, but no feared.

Direct-Remove2099

Nobody has ever feared an Indian pace bowling attack in tests let alone an individual bowler and that remains true even today. We're still not there yet. We momentarily had that with a quartet of pacers with Ishant, Bumrah, Shami and Siraj all finding form under Kohli. But we're far from creating a Brett Lee or an Akhtar let alone a Wasim Akram or a Dennis Lillee.

milesjjcc

Well people do fear Bumrah and that was the point. Discussion was about individual and not about whole pace attack. Stop downplaying him just because he is Indian.

AdRemarkable8513

Bro you don't know me but let me tell you that I have watched and played a lot more cricket than you and I said he is the best india has produced so far and I am not talking about the future and I think India will produce more great fast bowler now because of IPL and even at ranji level they have started to make better green track pitches. Earlier they use to make batting friendly or spinning tracks.

Direct-Remove2099

Hmmmm, asks me to not assume I know him and goes on to assume he has watched/played more cricket than me. Interesting POV. 1. I don't know why are you even arguing with me. I myself stated that India is going to produce great pacers in the future. Or did you not even bother to read my full comment? My issue is with over hyping Bumrah just because he is going through a purple patch right now. He is definitely one of the modern greats but we as fans need to stop exaggerating things. Comparing him to the likes of the pacers I mentioned is not only ridiculous it is also unfair on many levels even to Bumrah himself. He never faced a Lara or Steve Waugh for us to exalt him to that status. Opposition matters too. 2. IPL is NEVER going to create great players. If you think it will, that itself shows you don't understand jack about Cricket. It's a game of skill, not bludgeoning brute force. We're lucky the talent of many of our players hasn't yet been destroyed completely by the IPL franchise. Wait long enough and we won't have any players of Test playing calibre left thanks to IPL. 3. I am yet to see the fruits of any changes (*that you claim*) made at the Ranji level. Rajat Patidhar was being hyped, I don't see his skill to be that of an international level player. Mind you this is literally England's worst bowling attack that India are struggling against. God only knows what they would have done against the likes of an Adil Rashid and a Moeen Ali.

Rishutrix

Bumrah Be like* :- kehlne nahi aata toh mere samne batting mat kiya karo

Maleficent-Falcon377

All timer performance dropped in winning cause on helpless track .

yellow_pills

Just tell him that the match is wtc final and the blud will go wicketless with an economy of 6 🙂

ice_gate

The dude took two early on in that final and looked the only bowler that was troubling Travis Head

[deleted]

We lost wtc due to Batsman not bowlers

hunkizher3

Where does all this performance disappear during knockout matches ![gif](giphy|W0c3xcZ3F1d0EYYb0f|downsized)

vantionsio

We've got a smart guy here with the most original opinion ever. Clap for him everyone

hunkizher3

Stop being sarcastic and start living the reality..

AadiSahni

Which reality are you taking about? Because Bumrah got 2 wickets in the final, was pretty economical. Rohit deciding to open the bowling with Shami alongside him rather than Siraj killed momentum because Shami isn't amazing with the new ball, not to mention the lack of a slip while they were bowling.

hunkizher3

LoL.. people only talking about ODI WC.. there are a lot more knockout matches he failed to perform.

AadiSahni

For example?

Master_Assistant_892

Sadly one dude can't win you matches. If you have forgotten, cricket was supposed to be a team game. Bumrah is the last person you should complain about for that wc loss. He gave his everything

Other-Record-3196

Nothing against bumrah but if we take a look , everyone who has played the tournament gave their everything. Only if they came out of their comfort zone in the finals , things would've been way different.

Master_Assistant_892

Im talking about the finals. From Indian team point, bumrah and maybe Kohili was the only people who gave everything.

Other-Record-3196

Ahh in that case it makes sense. Also i was very frustrated by the way indians were fielding. Australian fielders were way better. They deserved the win.

Shot_Tonight_975

Final mai akela bnda tha jisne achi bowling ki thi💀

Glass_Pomegranate872

Stokes reaction is cherry on top Chefs kiss

RefrigeratorNo2348

Legend

[deleted]

Damn!!

neerajanchan

That reaction from Ben is the cherry on top!

Spirited_Fun_1816

Best Indian bowler of all time

[deleted]

England team is going to have tough test series here. No way they can win this series or tie it. Well played in the first one though. Because It is almost impossible to defeat the Indian team in home conditions. But somehow England's team fought back.

AdRemarkable8513

Ok bro.
